661. Smart AI. Elites are smart! I was playing Assault on the Control Room, and even though I knew the Elites were there (in the "Invisible Elite Hallway"), they had tricked me. I thought that they would shoot me the second they saw me, like the brutes we've all come to know; but they waited until I was in the middle of the hallway, and then they ambushed me from behind!

668. Enemies that advanced upon your position. In Halo 2 and 3 the tactic is very, very set in stone: duck and shoot, duck and shoot.

In Halo CE it doesn't work, the Elites will charge up to the rock you're stood behind. It gives it a more realistic combat feel, where the brutes with non regeneration are happy to shoot from afar at a regenerating enemy, without even thinking of advancing upon him.

This is another example of smarter AI. Another example would be how the Covenant will react to your presence (once you present it), no matter how far away you are. You can BR/Snipe Brutes across the map in Halo 3, and if you're far enough away they just won't react, at all. It's a joke, the only reason SLASO is possible is because the AI is so incredibly simple and weak in that game.

Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

671. Oh, those crazy elites and their silly language!

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

672. Echo 419, Foehammer was an awesome character even though you never saw her :(

Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said could never be done.

374: Real-time Scripted cut scenes.

Like the one on 343 Guilty spark, you could push a turret in the way they had to go. Lulz ensued.

375.A Flamethrower with a nice,believable range. (on Halo:PC)

376.Assault games that used flags, not bombs.

378.A great many maps that strayed away from campaign mode design.

379.Elimination.You always had to be careful.(Elimination games were those in which you only had a certain number of lives)

380.Multiplayer maps that didn't center around procuring a specific weapon or vehicle.

381.No ridiculous vehicle boosts.

382.Entertaining exchanges between Master Chief and Cortana.

383.Hiding spots that are well thought out and fun to use.The small hollow on Blood Gulch (the one to the left of Blue base when facing out into the canyon) and the small hollows (the area where the water meets the cliff face) on Battle Creek.

384.Deployable covers that were built into the Campaign and Multiplayer maps, and were used as such.

385.CTF games on Wizard.Quickest match EVER.Who needs a veto function when you can make your own?

386.Elites that were somewhat unintelligible. They went from attempting to club me over the head in Halo:CE to in Halo:3 calling ME the barbarian! And the WTF moment of the day goes to...

387.Basic,straightforward grenade types.I don't see what the deal is with the Spike grenade. It can stick to an enemy. So can the plasma grenade.I could perhaps understand the Firebomb, but if i'm not mistaken,it wasn't implemented in multiplayer, was it?

388.The following is slightly trivial.Prongs affixed to the front of the Mark V Spartan Helmet, the likes of which overshadow the visor.

389.Chiron TL34.Many called it a terrible map,but the idea was very original.Where in Halo's two or three do you see a multiplayer environment comprised of an interlocking network of teleporters? The same goes for Boarding Action.A large portion of the community was adverse to the map,and yet it was one of the most original among those available within the game.

390.Halo's greatness on a smaller level.Sure,we ooh'ed and ahh'ed when we saw the Scarab for the first time. When we saw a covenant cityscape sprawling beneath us,we were astounded. However, sometimes you just have to take a step back and see Halo in another light. In Halo:CE,there is no great defense against oncoming armadas. There is no attempt to find an Ark which controls the fate of the galaxy. There is only a soldier,a genetically augmented faceless soldier, but a soldier nonetheless, trying to get home. That is what grabbed my attention more than anything else in the game.

697. The weather patterns that seemed natural not artificial and made you wonder if the designers wanted the installation to have inclement weather.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

698.
Realistic fall physics unlike in halo 2 and 3 (jump out of a shee while it is high in the air and you will die or have shields go down, same for high cliffs.)
699
No feet (like in source engine games)

Nah.

702. Don't know if this has been said before, but I noticed a cool effect a few days ago that I don't think is in Halo 2 or 3, and that is grenades emit sparks when hitting objects.
