751. Elites that actually looked cool. The elites that you fight with in Halo 3 just look dumb.

  • 11.09.2009 5:21 PM PDT

752. Running around inside a Covenant ship with a Sniper Rifle. Sound familiar?

: )

im afraid im gonna have to confiscate your testicles.

What are you, the Cyber police? lol.

763. The campaign levels, i.e. "Space Cowboy" or the mission, "Halo," fighting on HUGE ships, Pillar of Autmn.
764. The multiplayer maps. Blood Gulch, Derelict, Boarding action, Wizard, Gephyrophobia, Battle Creek, Infinity, Chiron-TL34, Longest, Prisoner, Hang 'Em High, Death Canyon, Death Island, Ice Fields, Timberland, Damnation.
765. The epic sniping battles on Timberland.
766. Grenade fest on Longest
767. Capture the flag on Damnation.
768. Falling down with the water falls on Damnation.
769. The music of the campaign.
770. Weather effects, (Raining, snowing.)
771. Teleporters
772. Plasma grenades sounding like chemical explosionss.
773. Gigantic levels, such as Assault on the Control Room, the multiplayer level Infinity, Gephyrophobia, Death Island, Danger Canyon, etc.

For 773. Im going to guess that Chief had more endurance and stamina back then too... with all that traveling in the bulky armor.

Oh and
774. Me actually being scared of trying the campaign on Legendary.

~Sigh~ I miss Halo CE so much.

775. Shells that don't disappear in an instant. I loved firing the AR and the warthog chaingun and looking at the carpet of shells to the right.

776. The vehicle moments had large, wide open areas that never felt obstructive.

777. The walk speed was soooo much better and didn't feel sluggish.

778. Having the sights just barely off your opponent meant you MISS.

779: Weapon sway. Even though the reticule stayed in the middle, seeing the weapon sway as I turned looked very natural.

780: Melee. The action felt great. If you missed, it didn't leave you open because you could still move. Hitting an unshielded opponent resulted in a clack because you were hitting armor, not flesh. And it was a nice, balanced 3 hit kill.

781: Health. It actually felt like you had some. Sure you lost your shield but it was only halfway. Unlike in H2/3 where no shields usually meant death.

782: The amazing battle at the end of Two Betrayals. An army of flood. An army of covenant. You. And there were a lot of ways to carry out your mission. I enjoyed sitting on the far hill sniping, and got scared when invisible Elites attacked me. Ah the memories.

I like it when you are moving and swapping weapons the dropped weapon actually bounces or skitters across the ground a bit, rather than just hitting the ground with a resounding thud and not moving again like it is superglued there.

Sheesh, womy, I thought I knew my CE. Makes me think of the old, 'load up behind the rock at the first construction' part of level two. Well done young man. Well done.

did you 2 know you can make weapons float with the energy bridges on 343 guilty spark, just get weapons on it then deactivate the bridge and they should be floating

786.being able to skip half the levels

Assguards are only important to people who run away from danger. Personally, I like to throw myself into danger facefirst, in a beautiful swan dive.

790. Late nights on The Library

  • 11.16.2009 5:51 PM PDT

791. 5 seconds before detonation of plasma 'nades
792. Smoke coming from the warthog chaingun when being fired
793. The action when changing weapons
794. The campaign not being dummbed down so it was easy.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Gettin' all Herodotean up in here!

804. Explosions that threw so many enemies into the sky that you had to stop playing because you were laughing so hard.

805. Vehicles that kept their momentum after you jumped out of them. Flinging a warthog down a hill into a horde of Covenant was so much fun, but now they slow down so fast and the Covies jump out of the way so much better that it doesn't work any more.

806. Trying for really bizarre kills just for fun, not for points.

807. The hidden banshee.

808. Fire actually mattering.

809. Replaying AotCR two hundred times because it's WAAAAAY more interesting than your family.

810. The frantic desperation of levels like "Halo" and "T&R" when you decide you want to keep all of the marines alive on Heroic or Legendary, just for the challenge. Oh, so many checkpoint reloads...

811. EPIC sniper duels on Blood Gulch.

812. The first time you played T&R and realized that you had an insane amount of ammo for the sniper rifle.

813. Using the overpenetration on the sniper to get multiple kills.

814. BLACK AS A COLOR CHOICE!!!

815. Doing the Maw on Legendary for the first time, and not even stopping to look at Foehammer as it was shot down, because there's no time!!!

816. Trying to get the Warthog through the tunnels in The Silent Cartographer.

818. Cool Elites...

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

819. A weapon set that demanding skill and a little thing called aim.
