ok, i know we dont know if the human's actually win the covenant yet, but i think if they do, Bungie had better come up with a damn good reason for it...the humans are in a horrible defensible/offensible position, with almost no hope of defeatind a covenant armada...so if the humans are going to win, please bungie, come up with a good reason, and not "oh we were able to push them back with enormous amounts of luck"...that sounds like something off of startrek

Star Trek doesn't use luck, they use intelligence and skill to get out.

And I am sure Bungie will not screw anything up. After all Earth is bound to have the best defense and there were dozens of colonies with ships in them that were bypassed when the Covenant attacked Reach. So they can come over to help Earth as well.

on a faq somebody asked who is stronger humans or covies the answer was covies but humans have better tactics like gurilla warfare and stuff like that or the covies come for a forerunner artifact and find it then they retreat to take it to their home world we pursue(spell??)

This guy is right off the mark. this is all true... another thing the covenant are not after to kill humans, their after the forrunner relics and they will kill anyone who gets in the way.... we just got in the way, so there going to kill us, or attemt(spelling?) to. I hope we get to go to the grunt home world, a hint is the grunt with out the mask, grunts breath methane, they need the mask to breeth. oh i hope we invade a planet... and KICK SOME COV ASS!

Actually the Covies are out to 'wipe the galaxy clean' of impurities, which they see Humans as. Anyways Earth not only has the greatest defense of any Human planet, even greater than Reach, but also

****BOOK SPOILER WARNING******

In the end of First Strike, Lt. Haverson and The Admiral....(forgot his name at the moment) made a suicide run at the ready-to-explode Unyielding Heirophant, sending all the covie armada after them to get caught and destroyed in the explosion. So the entire covie fleet that had amassed at the time (over 500 ships) was destroyed. This doesn't mean their full force is gone, but a large chunk of it is, and it should give Earth time to set up stronger defenses and formulate a plan.
