Yeah I like the hardcore stuff. And yes, there is some classical and orchestrated stuff on there- that can be as badass as screamo. But screamo is as badass as it gets (ie Demon Hunter, in its darker parts)
my music is usually Punk or Metal. 'Tis my opinion, but rap can burn in hell.<.< >.>
Punk seems like fruity metal to me. But to each his own.
Oh- I'd like to thank whoever here on these forums mentioned Therion- I looked em up, and they're awesome! I can only find Lemuria and Sirius B though... I want the Secret of the Runes. I just cant find it anywhere.
Flogging molly is my all time favorite band, i like everything exept rap and pop.
AC/DC, Guns N Roses, D12, G-unit, 281 KNILB... er BLINK 182, Your Mom, and much much more...
I like it all from Rap to Ska to Metal to Classical... Favorite Bands of all time are 311, Dispatch, Sublime and Incubus
System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age, MEtallica, Cypress Hill, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, A Silver Muont Zion, Beastie Boys, Brain Tax, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, I could go on.....And of course, if you want a laugh when you pick up the sniper rifle overlooking that pool on level 'Keyes' just watch the flood stand still through your scope, after they kill all the covenant, and watch them rave to the prodigy....hilarious
Led Zeppelin, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Coldplay, The Used, Nirvana, The Strokes, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and of course...The Beatles.
Tool, KoRn, Tea Party, Matt Good, Linkin Park, and... that's all I can think of right now.
Wailin' Jennys, Tegan and Sarah.
I'm all about Rage Against the Machine, Jane's Addiction, Pantera, and Pearl Jam(my friend's uncle plays bass for Pearl Jam)!
Punk died in the 70s. This commercial pop-punk, as it's termed, is just some mass-manufactured drivel with a lot of half-brained lyrics and melodies.I just listen to a lot of "Rock" (alternative, classic, etc), Metal, Nu-metal, classical, instrumental, and Marty O'. I cannot stand rap, pop, pop-punk, 'emo', or R&B. That's a lot of different and too many bands to list, so.. =p
