I believe bungie should provide all live users with Halo on the xbox with a free copy of halo on the pc to compensate for the lack of live support or should i say absence of online play for halo on console. This way it'll ease xbox owners neverending wait for the sequel and even garner more halo buyers therefore increasing the potential halo 2 buyers as well.

No, they shouldn't. Online play wasn't included in Halo because there was no development kit available while Bungie were developing it. I don't see any other first generation games featuring Live play, do you?

That would be cool and all, but:
1) Its not Bungie's fault Halo is not XBL compatible, as it was released before XBL
2) We know that that will not happen, as it would cost lots o money.
3) XBC works fine for playing online so whats the big deal?
4) With Halo 2 so close, and the fact that Halo PC is Gearbox's baby (but recently, it seems some other *stuff* has been going on....) it would not be worth Bungie's wile to do this.

Also, you may not know this, but Bungie is going 150% right now on Halo 2 to get it all done and polished. I think it was mentioned that they are doing the Beta inside tests for XBL right now.

If you have Halo for X-Box, then you must have saved up/ convinced parents to spend the $50 for it the first time. Why not just save/ask parents to buy pc?

To 'compensate'? Halo PC needs co-op, to compensate.

I guess we're even, then... =/

I completely agree with the topic -starter. I've already sent emails to every software-company that made PC-games during the 80's so that they can compensate me for the lack of online multiplayer in the games at that time.

(I hope that noone fails to sense the sarcasm in this post)
