There is a thread speaking of a theory that relates ancient Egypt and the Forerunners, and it is called "The hint hidden in the first published halo ad." Now, my friends and i started it. However, has gotten to 6 pages now, and people might not want to search through all that, so here is our latest find. One of the many evidence supports we found is a wallpaper published way back, which shows hieroglyphics and ancient Egyptian drawings. Here is what I posted just now in our theory topic.

"By the way, that original wallpaper which Bungie made, which shoes hieroglyphics and ancient Egyptian drawings is very tough to decipher. Jared, Shifty, Redleader, and I found keys that translate the most common (as there are thousands) hieroglyphics into letters. The code was very tough to deipher, and we only managed to find 2 words out of the entire thing, which was probably around 7 or 8 words. Anyone willing to guess what those words were? Oh, and the reason why we couldn't decipher the rest, was probably because Bungie just made up symbols.... There is even the Marathon logo there, although RedLeader thinks its 343 GS."

So, can anyone guess as to what those two words were? They werent exact, about one hieroglyph was missing, but it was close enough.

i cant guess, and i dont really care, but i think the hierogliphics (spelling woah) were just there to complete the picture..

Here is the link by the way, for anyone who doesnt know what I'm talking about.

And to narrow your guesses down, it really doesn't reveal anything about the Halo story, or Halo 2. But it's kinda interesting to think if Bungie really went through the trouble to put that there, it was coincidence.
