That wouldn't make sense. Because, when they're done with them, they'll come for us.

I saw your other post with your ideas on it. I doubt it though. That'd be way to unrealistic considering at least hundreds of marines were infected within days of them being released, even if we did find some of the Flood, I highly doubt (and hope) any High Command would be smart eneough to realize the potentially dire consequeeces from and outbreak.

I mean have an AI pilot a ship towards the Covie homeplanet with three carrier forms and then see what happens.

Three carrier forms?!?!?! That's about twelve infection forms total. It took at least 25 or so to infect a bunch of Marines, let alone the Covenant homeworld which is protected by it's own personal armada, defense rings, and tons of orbital guns. Trust me, you'd need a whole fleet of flood with infested...everything to be able to have a slim chance at even getting one infection form anywhere near someone to infect.

How about we hijack a covenant ship put on three carrier forms and send it to the covenant Homeworld. In less than two weeks it would all be destroyed.

And a week later so will we be. Trust me. It wouldn't work. And, anyway, if you've read the books, you'd know that the covenant shoot anything that's out of the ordinary and is heading for their planet.

The flood couldn't get us from the Covie homeplanet. Oh crap, they can. I forgot they would learn how to fly space craft. Also, if it is a Covie ship then we could slipspace onto the surface.

ok hold up the convi dont have a planet where they all live together.they live in different planets for example the grunts come from a planet where is full of a gass that i forgot the name of.and that is why they need a mask to breath on halo .so maybe the onle covi planet we go to if we go to would be where the prophets live.

Well the Humans had several colonies but that didn't stop them near wiping us out by "First Strike" did it? Anyway, i don't find the idea feasible, they have cannons surrounding their worlds which will destroy any ships waiting 1/2 a second to give the clearance codes.

yea they have the cannons to shoot the ships with out clearence but they would not shoot a ship that has an artifact.like in first strike when the covi could had destroyed the ship that mc stoled and since he had the glowing krystal thing tey didnt destroy him,so if there is an artifact on earth or another planet we can use it to get to thru the cannons.

Yeah, they were. The Covenant decided that if they couldn't have it, niether would the Humans. Just in the end they tried to get it with overwhelming numbers.

Although the Flood are retutning to Halo 2, I doubt we or the Covenant for that matter will release them. However I do know someone else in the Halo series that has a grudge against everyone and wants some sort of vengeance.......or its "mind" has had an "error" of sorts Probably something to do with its age. If you don't know who or what I am talking about, then I pity you.

  • 07.04.2004 10:49 AM PDT

I'll be on my own side.

lets wait and see how long it takes for them to get it

Hmmm... He can't be meaning the monitor, because he is too nice and interesting to talk to. Cortana maybe! Nó, she isn't old.... Aha! It must be Captain Keyes! He has gray hair, (had) chip thingies in his head, doesn't like covenant and got his head smashed by MC!

One thing I thought of was blowing up another halo in Covenant space.

That wouldn't work. Covenant Space is too close to ours and all the Halos would then go off. That is how they operate.

" This installation onl;y has an effective blast radius of 25,000 light years. But once the others follow suite, this galaxy will be quite devoid of life. "

Basically saying, once you set off one, you set them all off. And there are still 12 Halos (estimated) out there that will destroy all life.
