Bungie Favorites looks pretty good this week.

Also I've never heard of these guys. I guess Halo Charts really took a toll on their user base.

And I think this killed their servers.

Halocharts is a copycat site who has boosters in their leaderboards, junk.ws is an original with no boosters in the leaderboards...

Halocharts charges for a vast majority of features, junk.ws gives most everything for free.

Sorry, but Junk.ws deserves the site breaking publicity more than halocharts.

edit: But I know why you'd like a site with boosters on the leaderboards.

I would like to hear an explanation for why ODSTs can't throw grenades as far as Master Chief, but they can rip turrets off their metal bases and carry them around with little effort. - As for the music, there is nothing that breaks the atmosphere like randomly placed saxophone solos. You're supposed to be in a warzone, and it sounds like the softcore -blam!- they show on Cinemax after midnight. During one battle we were treated to some of the cheesiest, squeedle-ridden guitar ever heard in a game.

I <3 Halo3.Junk.WS! It's like HaloCharts; except original, faster, usable and legible. HC makes my eyes bleed, and you have to pay up to see specific stats or drill down to deeper information.

If you like your aggregate stats and the ability to filter them as you see fit, please find it in your heart to donate, even if it is just the bare minimum. They are certain to see increased traffic and registrations due to this post on the Bungie.net homepage.

Donors also receive the benefit of access to the signature designer, which allows you to create custom signatures that are generated on the fly with your current Halo 3 stats. With minimal Photoshop effort you can create a design that blows Bungie cards out of the water, using whatever custom stats and graphics you find most appropriate.

I really can't commend H3Junk enough, they do fantastic work and their admin team is very dedicated to consistent and quality development, particularly oi1. Thank you for making such an excellent choice for Community Spotlight!

I am the admin of HaloCharts.com and I think H3J deserves this spotlight completely. They were my inspiration for starting my stats site and the admins are really bright, cool individuals. I commend them for handling the sheer amount of data that they have captures in their system, its a tremendous job. I also want to commend H3J's signature creator. It is by far the best out there.

As for a few misconceptions about HC, I simply ask for a one-time donation for advanced statistics. You don't have to donate to use most of the sites features like the goal system, group system, forums, leaderboards, chat etc. HC runs on two servers to handle the 220,000+ players tracked by the site so in order to keep the site ad-free, I ask for donations. That's all.

Anyways, great work H3J!

I'd rather use Halocharts. Simply because I don't have to wait an eon for the site to load. If I go to Halojunk I can cook my dinner, have coffee before the site loads. The site will never generate a sig for me at all.

I, personally, play on the BTB team over at H3J. I've been part of the site for over 2 years now. They keep getting better and better. The new features oi1 and indutiomarus come out with are always impressive. Great job guys. I hope everyone joins up and makes use of these great tools.

From the site:

"The Halo3.Junk.ws servers lost power twice this afternoon; the datacenter staff are still trying to ascertain the cause of the problem. Unfortunately, while the database was being (automatically) recovered after the first power failure, the second power failure happened, which havocked the database, causing the extended downtime this afternoon.

Some parts of the website (new account registration, gamertag registration, and the game viewer) are offline while we finish consistency checks on the data."
