In the wars of the future, wars will be fought by video game nerds who can't use anything but a sniper rifle.

Imagine, someone equipped with an automatic rifle will venture out into the battlefield and be killed by a member of his or her respective team because they're a "noob".

A nice touch.

I'm still waiting for my touch.

Yeah, I think I should have a title having to do with post frequency soon. I have around 22-25 posts a day.

i was under the impression it was quality, not quantity. dont take this the wrong way, but i strive for 1 or 2 good posts a day, vs 25 1 liners or off topic replies. i am not saying this is what you do, but there are many on here that do.

Come check out the The Christian Halo Union. Whether you’re looking for fellowship, intelligent discussion, positive gamers, or maybe you just want to have fun, you'll find it with us. With over 650 members and counting, we're the most active Christian group on Bungie.net.

Well, now that I understand the meanings of the titles, I think they fit quite nicely into the system. But it doesn’t change anything for me. I’m the same as I always have been: Legendary. But now, at least, I have something to look forward to advancing toward. Instead of waiting around years for the Mythics to die off, I can strive for my Exaltation.

I am a proud user of correct spelling and grammar.

This looks like a really nice addition to the titles.

Nice post Batzter.

You would think I would have the title "Absent Member" considering I haven't signed in in forever. Awesome titles. Gotta get active now.

Sigs just aren't what they used to be.

Cool.

This new system is awesome. I've been only posting for about an hour and I already went from Honorable Member to Honorable Heroic Member. Seriously. An hour ago I was just a member.

Edit: And now it went back down. I'm confused. It's been skipping back and forth.
Edit #2: It's back... huh...

Achronos is tweaking the system a little bit, so he can make the ranking system balance.

A question here.

Is honourable considered the lowest of the prefixes?

why they change titles?
Same reason they made them in the first place;for fun.

No, having no prefix is the lowest prefix. Also different prefixes mean different things. So "Honorable" would be the lowest of actual ban-related prefixes (besides no prefix). The prefix you get is whichever one is most 'prominent'.

Imagine you have a different value for earch prefix, one for time, one for bans, and one for posts. If your ban value is , say 50 (the lower the number the more bans), your time value is 100 and your activity value is 60, you would get a time related prefix assuming the value is high enough to warrant one.

At least this is the way I think of it.

I'll also add its probably waaaay more complicated than that but you get the idea.

I am Honorable and have had no bans or warnings.
Is account age the only thing affecting me from becoming Noble?

Does this mean that the next time I eventually reaches heroic or legendarry, I wont lose it again, or at least not so quickly?

Also, anyone who has veteran or noble prefixes, what are the time limit for achieving those?

How do you get from the Ban related prefixes to the account age related one?

I think that it is whichever is the most outstanding. Like if you have been here for 3 years but have had a few bans then it might go to the age related one. But im really not sure.

Hmmm.. I've been banned once, but have been a member for over a year.
I hope to be a Veteran.

I work at Microsoft. I have nothing to do with Halo and nothing I say is "the official word".

I wouldn't hold out on getting a veteran prefix, everyone I've seen with it so far has been here for 4 years or more.

Sheesh, that's a while.
Well then I guess I can become... noble?
