I wonder what the qualifications for my "Fabled" rank are...
That you've played Fable.
No, It means that he's become somewhat famous on Bungie.
I'm not sure that's the correct answer...

If it is, how would the system know that?
Maybe This thread will clean things up for you.

Erm, how would that help? I know Heroic/Legendary/Mythic titles are based on trust, but how would the system calculate how "famous" someone is on the forums?

I like the new title prefixes. And the current one that I have fits me as I haven't been banned since long before the new Hawtness 2.0 launched before the release of H3.
Have you ever been banned? I'm just curious. I've never been banned or warned.

Because the Fabled title is based on activity, and generally people who post a lot are more well-known (not always true but you get the point).

Interesting theory, but before my 13 (after this 14) post spree in the past three days, I had 6 posts in the last month. So...I don't know, maybe it's because my post count is relatively high (when looking at the date of the 999th post) compared to other people on this site.

(random yet funny signature goes here)

To be honest, I hope post counts don't have such a strong relation as we're making them out to be. If that were true, you would just have people posting one word replies just to boost their post count and rank up. This doesn't benefit any member.

I think they have a pretty good influence on our ranks, but the system must take into account some type of quality or something to prevent what you're proposing.

I mean, if I don't post I rank down to a regular member. But in just the past two days I've been ranked up to a Legendary member.

Also, I'm really curious as to the ranking of each of them. Which prefixes take preference?

God point, but I'm sure that they're something that avoids it.

I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but is there a scale for which prefix groups are higher? Such as the account age prefixes being of greater or lesser importance to the system than, say, the ban history prefixes.

If I had one wish for Bungie.net, it would be to be able to change my username. Even if it cost me Microsoft Fun-Money, Space Bucks, or Stosh Dollars. That is all.

That is interesting, I just always assumed that activity had a lot to do with posting often.

Maybe it takes things into account like hours logged in, posts, groups joined, posts in those groups, etc etc.

Even then, I had barely been logging in, I'm in like 6 groups and haven't posted in them for a good two months.

I guess we'll never know.

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

This is pretty cool. I'm glad they keep adding new features unlike other sites.
