Personally I love the new messages "You ended Mendozas killing spree" and "You beat down Mendoza!"
Apparently depending on how you kill people yo get different messages! I cant wait to boast to my friends about how I "beat him down!"

The news that the HUD contained no life meter is pretty old...

There was a big convo about it a while back and it basically turned out that it's a pretty good thing.

The shielding is meant to be improved, and you're meant to rely on that more than allowing yourself to be damaged.

It adds a new tactical element to the gameplay, knowing that if you've lost your shielding, you may die in 3, 2, 1, shots etc. I like the idea.

Apparently there is more too it than even that! Apparently someone at the E3 demo saw "You splattered so and so" apparently depending on how you kill people you get a different message!
I'd love it if "you beat so and so down" is the message when you melee someone to death!!

Hey the sniper rifle is in there as well... never thought we'd hear much about that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but these arent official pics, otherwise they would be direct captures, not shakeycam, but otherwise, they're good, i like the bit about wepaon sets! it might imply that youll eb able to turn off certain weapons (yay, i might be able to have nedler and smg only matches) The sniper rifle render has been improved, and i really like the new messageing system, (you beat mendoza down! You ended Mendoza's Killing spree!)

Thank you very much for sharing these pics, as I do not care if they are, or are not "official." Just the other day when playing halo i was telling my friends that you should know when you were part of a "double kill" or "kill tacular" because the only person that seems to know is the one doing it. I think that since they now tell you when an opponent is on a killing spree that may include what i just metioned. Keep any new pictures coming.
