If you read the first one, its probably better than this one as it is an easier story to write. Heres another one anyway. (If anyone actually reads any of these, they're cool)
This ones about an Elite
R'tas N'arunee, Fleet of Retribution
NOTE: R’tas is a family name; Vadum and N’arun are the personal/given names.
R’tas N’arunee looked up. He heard someone calling him. He looked down the hall, and there was his cousin, Vadumee. N’arunee had just joined his cousins fleet, and was about to start serving aboard the Shadow of Intent, R’tas Vadumee’s ship. They would rid the universe of the humans, they would destroy the heretics, and they would go back to Sanghelios and await the Great Journey.
N’arunee walked faster to reach his cousin. He nodded, and said [in Elite’s language obviously] “Well met.” his cousin looked at him, N’arunee looked into his eyes, and Vadumee looked back. Finally, after a few seconds of silence, Vadumee answered “Well met. Once you have started your first day, I am sure you will make a great and honourable Sangheili.” N’arunee nodded. “Are you ready to start your first day, cousin?” N’arunee flared his mandibles [meaning a shrug] and let out a war cry “Raaaagh!” [Similar to that of The Arbiter after killing Truth] Vadumee nodded. They had stopped walking.
N’arunee loved the Shadow of Intent. She was a beautiful assault carrier, and he knew that onboard her, they would smite many a heretic and human, doing the Gods’ bidding. He looked up at her in awe. Vadumee noticed this, and opened the hatch. He led N’arunee inside, where they saw a few sets of Flight Armour and some drop-pods. Vadumee pointed towards a set of Flight armour, gesturing to N’arunee to put it on. N’arunee’s father had been killed by the blast of a MAC cannon from the Pillar of Autumn, while departing from the Shadow of Intent in a Phantom. The blast had torn the relatively tiny Phantom apart, shredding all inside in an instant. Since then, Vadumee had been a father to N’arunee. Vadumee had brought him up, taught him to fight. N’arunee looked at the helmet, moving it around in his hands, feeling every inch of it. Vadumee nodded, and he put it on. Vadumee nodded again, flared his mandibles, and turned, walking towards the bow [front] half of the ship.
Once in his armour R’tas N’arunee picked up a hilt from the rack, and a plasma rifle. He put the rifle on his leg, and attached the hilt to his armour. He followed his cousin up to the bow of the ship, and walked quickly to the bridge. Near the entrance to the bridge he spotted a couple of Jiralhanae. One of the snarled at him, and N’arunee put his hand on the sword hilt. He hated the Jiralhanae, miserable, honourless curs. He hoped the heretics killed them. He wondered why they were even on the ship, as Vadumee had banned them. Vadumee and all Sangheili hated the Jiralhanae. He went up into the cockpit, where his cousin was waiting for him. “Vadumee, there are two Jiralhanae below. Why?” Vadumee stared at him a few seconds, and growled. He stood up and N’arunee followed him down below to the deck. Vadumee stared at the two Jiralhanae, who were jeering at them. He yelled “Get off my ship. Before I force you off.” One of the Jiralhanae nodded, spat at Vadumee’s feet and they walked away. The other however turned around after two seconds and threw something at Vadumee. He then turned away again and they left.
Vadumee said to his cousin “You look mighty in that armour, N’arunee. You will make a powerful warrior.” The Shadow of Intent set course for Earth, a planet about to be glassed by the Covenant. Once in a high orbit, they prepared Phantoms, Banshees and drop pods. N’arunee was going to fly in a Phantom, he would jump down the gravity lift or out of the side door, and there they would start their attack.
Once the Phantom had left the Shadow of Intent, escorted by a flight of Banshees, N’arunee checked his weaponry. Many of his brothers started to do so too. On a screen next to them, the face of the Prophet of Truth appeared; “My brothers of the Covenant, today the heretics die! We will take their planet, and we will grind it into dust, their species cannot survive; it is the will of the gods!”
The Phantom hovered above ground while the Banshees eliminated a detachment of Hornets. The Hornets went down quickly, although several Banshees were lost and the Phantom took some damage. A Sangheili shouted “Wort Wort Wort!” [xD] and they jumped from the hatches while an Mgalekgolo pair deployed from the gravity lift. Several Unggoy also deployed from a different craft. Once on the ground, there was another shout of “Wort Wort Wort!” and N’arunee brought his Plasma Rifle to bear. He saw a bloodied, dead human “marine” below him as he marched with his group. He looked around, his HMD [Head Mounted Display, HUD is technically incorrect because a HUD is integrated, whereas a HMD is attached to the helmet afterwards, so Elites have a HMD] showing nothing on the motion tracker. He was still looking around, worried that he would come under attack. He was uncomfortable under his armour. Somewhere far in front of him he heard a call of “Contact, my brothers. Eliminate the human scum!” N’arunee saw several very small human soldiers; however amidst them was one very tall one. He was at least a foot and a half taller than the others, and was wearing dark green armour with a large golden visor. The tall one brought a strange weapon to his arms; it had a scope like a Covenant Carbine. The tall human shot his weapon and three bullets came out at once An Unggoy dropped, three bullets lodged in its skull.
N’arunee fired his Plasma Rifle 4 times and went into cover with several other Sangheili. Most of the Unggoy started to run away. The Field Master Sangheili fired a single shot from his Carbine, and dropped one. The Unggoy screamed in chorus, turned and started firing at the Marines. The Sangheili Zealot nodded and N’arunee and his squad came out of cover. They fired several short bursts from their rifles, killing several marines. A small green, bulbous object flew in front of N’arunee. It had a bright red light on it, and N’arunee, although not knowing what it was, instinctively threw it toward the humans. It exploded in mid air, showering the humans with shrapnel, and N’arunee roared. Several Sangheili formed themselves into a group, excluding N’arunee as he was not yet skilled with the Plasma Sword.
The Sangheili brought Energy swords to their hands, flicking them on. N’arunee watched in awe as the brave Sangheili charged the humans, including the tall one, killing many and losing only one. The Sangheili that had charged retreated, not leaving their felled comrade behind, they dragged him, losing one more to the tall soldier in the green armour while they did this. They managed to drag both bodies to safety, where they engaged Active Camouflage. N’arunee did not know he had Active Camouflage until a Sangheili said “Engage Camouflage! Wort Wort Wort!” N’arunee looked around on his suit. Once it was engaged (with a little help from a Spec Ops Sangheili) he gripped his Energy Sword, engaged it, and roared. The Sangheili roared in chorus and many marines yelped at their unseen enemy. The tall one, quickly becoming known as “the Demon,” however, stood his ground. He several short bursts from his other strange weapon at the general direction of the Sangheili, but they did not strike. Instead several Kig-Yar and two Unggoy fell.
The marines were terrified at their unseen enemy, and when the Sangheili reached them, they deactivated their camouflage and charged. N’arunee jumped onto a marine, almost instantly crushing his skull. He grabbed another and threw him to the floor, slicing him apart. Several Sangheili fired at the tall human, and several of them were slewn by him. They got into cover, ducking behind the same wall the humans had been cowering behind. When they looked up, the tall one had gone. “Where is the demon?” one of them asked. N’arunee roared; and said “The Demon has escaped! Find him!” A bright light flew over them and the Sangheili were blinded. The Unggoy however, were not, so they and the Kig-Yar were sent out. Once eyesight returned, N’arunee roared again, and the Sangheili left, two Zealots, 3 Ultras, a Spec Ops Commander and N’arunee, set out, following the Unggoy and Kig-Yar. The “Demon” was not found…
