My Xbox broke recently. So i've resorted to play Halo on 360 instead. I never play original games on it as they almost certainly screw up.

Guess what? 360 ruined Halo. I've seen Grunts running into walls, texture problems even a Pelican that crashed into the ground for no reason. I loved Halo on Legendary, Halo 3's was a joke. But now I can't do that as even the AI seem dumber.

Why 360, why did you do this to the game that started it all for me? Any else had these problems (My disc is fine, I played it on a mates 360 to check, same things happened on his.)

-Thoughts?

The update did a bunch of stuff to the game. But the AI in the Marines is dumber.

Yes, but still alot is broken. If you watch a wall while walking, you can see that you 'bop' forwards with every 3 steps. And sometimes the AI wont dodge grenades.

I haven't personally seen any messed up textures but I have noticed some framerate issues under the emulation. Other than that I don't believe for a second that the AI has changed. I can understand some textures glitching up but what you're describing makes no sense. The AI is exactly the same as I remembered it when I played it on the 360.

Just message me on live.

I don't have the original from the marketplace but it still has issues.

Yeah, what you're saying was already there. Are you just trying to hate the 360? =P

There was a lot less broken than in other games from that time frame.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but unless I went down a slope, walking along a wall I moved the same speed, unless I changed my direction slightly.

The AI in Halo 3 doesn't dodge all grenades, unless the skull is turned on. What's your point?

Guess what? I got the RRoD for the 2nd time now. Now I know why it's been doing things that you guys havn't seen.

Last time it was near broken it screwed up alot of games as well. So, my warranty has expired so now I need to fork over $300 for a new one. I'll get back to you when I have one and say whether those... 'glitches' are gone.

Well, I played Halo on the original Xbox and PC (So I bought it on both? I love it!) And I don't mean those slope things, that was common for games back then, they didn't have as good tech as we do now. But the AI was much smarter on the original Xbox and dodged all the grenades (On Legendary unless you stick them.)

Are you aware that MS covers the RRoD for three years? Did that expire too?

Yes. I got it in July 2005. That was 3 years ago. Just expired.
