What if you could join into someone's campaign mode at anytime.

1)Go to their house
2)System Link another Xbox and TV up
3)Go to Multiplayer
4)Go to Co-op
5)Go to Join game
6)When the original player gets to a spawn point the 2nd person get's "spawned in"

So if your friend decides to come over and your already playing Halo 2 he can join right in, since the levels in Halo 2 are going to be 5 times larger, that would be a whole lot of level to restart. Because basically you have two options, finish out the level with them just sitting there, or restart the level and play through it again. When this happens to me I usually restart because the levels aren't that big and I love playing Halo, but 5 times as big is going to be a big difference.

Another plus to this idea is that if they decide to leave they can just drop out rather than having an idle second person and losing half the screen for nothing (assuming your playing split screen) or having to restart the level again since they left and took their xbox with them.

Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts at all on this?

Cool idea. But like in "two betrayels" when you are flying the banshees, another banshee comes just incase yours gets demolished. So if you were playing like that, a banshee would have to drop out of the sky, and it would look kind of corny.

Woo, hah, me and my friends all thought it would be neat since this tends to happen a lot to us. So I wanted to know what everyone else thought.

But if it was essential to have a banshee, when someone "joined" a banshee would have to appear.

Well the only reason I posted it twice was because the first title didn't really convey the meaning I wanted to present. That's why I named this title NEW TITLE to tell people I've already posted this. I didn't mean to spam, I just wanted people to know what I was talking about.

When you play co-op, do you have to half the ammo?

Well at the next "spawn point".

There aren't any spawn points in the air or whatever, so you would have to land.

They made Banshees fall from the sky in the 1st Halo, I wouldn't mind seeing it happen again.

Nope, same thing as campaing, just with two people and a screen split in two horizontally.

Yes, but when you needed a banshee, your friend is in combat, or is flying over water. ( it could happen! )

I do play halo, you know. I was just wondering because when someone joins, you find yourself with half the ammo you had a minute ago.

Okay, then just rename the other one. It was only a few threads down when you made this one.

This is kinda off topic but has anyone noticed when your in a Banshee and doing a nose dive you fall faster when your not using the engine and if you press forward and turn on the engine you slow down. Kinda wierd. Fixed in Halo 2?

Anyone else think this would be a good idea, and/or is there enough time to implement it into the game?
