Well, there's a plug-in for Halo PC/CE that allows you to change your versions. To use it, you'll need a program like WinRAR or WinZIP, then open it, and drag the strings.dll file into your Halo PC/CE directory. (Note, you'll also need the 1.07 exe)
Then, you have to enable your console. To do this, (for XP, I don't know about Vista) right click on your shortcut, and click properties. Go to where it says " Target : " It should look like this : "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" Then, add a space and type -console at the end. So it should look like this : "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console
Then, to use it, fire up Halo. Press ~ on your keyboard. Look in the bottom left corner, you should see something like " halo) " in pink. Type in "version table"(no quotes) Look for the one you want, and type it in. Ex : " version 1.08 " or for CE, " version 1.08ce "
Now you can use your apps that work with 1.07.
