Spartan Extermination Squad
Fan art: Halo 3
Info: This picture is quite a mix of things. The Spartan in the foreground is actually part of a project I'm working on, but I liked the image enough to make a piece of fan art out of it. Originally, it is a screenshot cut out, used as reference. I then created a hand drawn version of the picture and mixed it with the original cut out. When that was done I changed the lighting and added more lighting effects. The destroyed building in the background is actually taken from a StarCraft 2 concept art image. This image also served as the main inspiration. Lighting, smoke, rubble and such is all hand drawn. The reason this picture is in black white is due to the nature of the original project. And because it looks cool.

Night patrol
Fan art: Halo 3: Recon
Info: Speed painting. I was bored and couldn't sleep so I quickly made this. I wanted a bit of a storyboard frame I guess, but I doubt I succeeded in that part. Took me about two, two and a half hours to create in a single sit through.
ODST Down.
Fan art: Halo 3: recon
Info: Took me a few weeks to draw although the actual time spent on it is pretty low; around 4 to 5 hours, as I only worked a few minutes on it at a time. All of it is drawn by me, although I did use a few screenshots from the Prepare to Drop trailer for reference. Eventually I grew bored of it and just wrapped it up.
Extra: Layered version, displaying how the picture was built up. I didn't save the actual drawing process sadly.

Three hunters.
Fan art: Marathon.
InfoI created this particular more as a test than for simple fun. I was trying out various poses and color usage. It started with a simple sketch of the security officer, after that I added some basic colors. After he was finished, I pretty much placed it on the sideline, and didn't finish it till about two months later. I quickly drew the floor, the hand and two hunters in the background. Then painted some smoke and fog to finish it. All of it was done with Photoshop. I needed about 10 hours to finish it.
Queen of knights.
Fan art: Halo
Info:My entry for a fan art contest. I spent most of my time working on Cortana, especially on the head, since I was still learning on how to draw hair realistically as possible. In the end I tried too hard to make her look realistic, rather than polishing the rough edges. In the background you can see the Chief as well as the SO from my previous picture (even though that one wasn't finished by the time this one was). I didn't like it at first but I kinda grew fond of it. Was a good learning process overall.
Here she stands
Fan art/wallpaper: Oni
Info: This was created for a wallpaper contest here on Bungie.net. It came second place. Nothing really special to creating it, took an existing picture of Konoko, made some modifications and created the background. Wallpaper size=1280x1024
Flatliners
Fan art/wallpaper: Marathon
Info: Created for a wallpaper contest. Nothing special to mention about. It's a collage from work by Craig Mullins, the color scheme is my own. It got a honorable mention in the contest
Mjolnir Concept.
Fan art: Halo
Info:Didn't take me that long to make (about 8 hours all together) because I had some excellent reference models of the chief. All was created in Photoshop using a Wacom graphics table. The art work (1500x1594) comes with a little step by step view as well. In case you are wondering why it has a bit sketchy look, it's because I wanted it to keep that concept art feel.

Infected Cortana.
fan art/wallpaper: Halo 3
Info: Not sure what I was thinking when I made this... probably something dirty. In the end, I really ended up hating this picture. It didn't start out as a wallpaper, but I wasn't quite what else to would go with that errr... pose.
I wish I hadn't made her boobs so big. :-/
