Bungie, can you guys give an answer to my question? I live in a small village with internet connections to be ashamed of. So Xbox live is not for us. Well, we will get faster internet in a few months, but it's not quite sure yet. I play in a local clan, Le Chief Sportif. We have four members, we don't have Live or XBC... So we need to know, and especially my bro's very worried, if there's still System Link for 16 players on only 4 TVs. We only heard that there's still system link, but we only heard that you CAN use 16 TVs for it now, somehow. But will 4-players-on-each-Xbox still be possible when systemlinking? Because, my brother has his suspicions and theories about Microsoft wanting to sell more and more Xbox live sets; and they CERTAINLY WILL if there's only a system link option for 16 TVs. Bungie, don't do it. Please. Say that my brother is wrong 'cause we're worrying sick here. Give us a screenshot :P!!! ... I mean it.

I wouldnt worry, Bungie has been talking about multiplayer for low speed connections and its most likely they will keep the system link. They were also debateing bots for people who have zipo internet conection.

Read the FAQ. They're specifically targeting people with two controllers and no Live at all... yes there will be plenty for standard system link. Maybe more than we know...

I know there will be system link in it. I'm only hoping that you can still play with 16 players without needing 16 TVs. We have to get 8 TVs together for a clanwar, you know. That's hard. Lan party's will always be better fun than online. I hope Bungie realises that. But it's not especially my worry. My brother is very concerned. He's a dutch game journalist and if he doesn't get an answer to this he'll be spreading nasty rumors. So I'm asking Bungie. It's for you own good too, you know guys to help this guy stop his worries... and mine... a little bit...

You can have up to 16 Xboxes linked together. All the Xboxes support Split-Screen until the 16 player limit is fulfilled. Therefore, you could have 10 TV's with 16 people playing, or 7 TV's with 16 people. You can divide the players onto separate TV's however you want, that way the person who can't stand screenwatching gets their own screen, or the person with the VCR can record without forcing the other TV's to take on more people.

Not only for the people who haven't a broadband connextion but also for the fun. It's nice to meet people on a Lan party (that''s what we organize soem times ;) ). You can luagh at them if the make a blunder :P or if you killed them by a wierd shot. Or ofcourse if your better then them:P. but Plz bring it back in HALO 2 it's!!!

I don't know but so far first person shooters have been either 1 or 2 players per. xbox live and even system link. So 2 players per box might be what they will do for system link also.

Yes, Sketch is our beloved Community Guy, and I agree with Vicious Spike, PM him if you're that worried.

16 (Curse you number 9!) TVs is completely optional (if you have 16 xbox's that is)... If you only have four all you need is four TVs.

No Bungie wouldnt do that. Halo had 4 split screen for system link and it's confirmed that you can take 4 person split screen online, so why couldn't you take 4 player split screen over a system link? It'll happen
