I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a forum dedicated to finding help not found in the FAQs, rules, etc. Should there be a place where we can advertise that we need help with something or quickly scan over through see what we might be able to help with? A community help centre seems like a good idea to me, what do y'all think?

I think that we should maybe have a couple of people designated to answer questions, like a mod or someone similar. The PM system would give a direct response to a direct question.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

If someone has a question, just ask it. I don't see the need for a whole new forum for questions.

We have the chapter Newb World (can't be bothered to find the link). And this very board.

Chapter Founders does offer some support as well, but if all else fails, ask a mod. We most likely won't lock the thread if you're asking a question.

bah

I would say Newb World is your best bet, most likely because I am there every day and the mods won't always have time to answer your questions ASAP because they have important mod buiseness. Besides, just becasue they're mods doesn't make them gods. They don't know everything...

Isn't the Septagon partly for getting help with the 7C or asking questions?

The Septagon is for the Column and B.net, we're talking for everything else.

I thought they were talking about help with the 7C, but if they're talking about for games like Halo there's already the underground. Or for anything else there's the Flood. Besides if there was a forum for that stuff, nobody would go there except those that had questions, thus most probably wouldn't get answered, and it wouldn't stop people from asking about stuff in places like the Underground. Take the Classifieds for example, I tried it once, but nobody there is interested in anything but recruiting, not being recruited.
