Can you not see the words while playing multiplayer?
Think you're losing your eyesight? Think you have a virus? Think you have to reinstall Halo?

Have you ever been having an important conversation, trying to see who killed you so you can take revenge, or just plain wanted to see what other people are saying about you? Have I got the product for you! Its called msxmlenu for just zero dollars and zero cents you can make the writing magicaly appear! Buy one. Heck buy two.

Heres how to order. Go to "My Computer" and then "Program Files". Find you "Microsoft Games" folder and click. Then open the "Halo" folder. Scroll down untill you find the msxmlenu - windows installer package and then double click it. Choose repair or install and Voila! You have your writing back!

yeah, sometimes it's because you minimized it, and sometimes it's because of some mysterious problem in the game

I'd like not to see the words. and the nav points. Who needs a nav point in BG or Hang em High? It gets in my way when I'm aiming. I play on a Mac. Any way to make the annoying distractions go away? I'd want to keep the little green arrows to indicate team members. I don't always play on the same color team and I find them helpful to avoid FF.

Nav points are the hosts choice. Unless you want to delete the msxmlenu file (which you might not have because its a microsoft file and your on a mac) I don't know how to turn OFF the writing.

yes msxmlenu is the microsoft's application that forces words and creates error reports in games. The way to damgae msxlenu is to have another thing running when halo is running, that overloads it, and corrupts it.

THANK U! That makes more sense. I did the damn msxlmenu thingy and I still have disappearing text. But I do have programs in the background. And usually it's when there's major lag like on a huge server and little newblettes flying around in the banshees.

Microsoft should fix that, as well as give us another patch, and make XP better, and give money to the masses, and give up the monopoly.
