Subject: What if?

I always offer fair game and usually allow some "extermination" of my teammates. I think that anyone should be able to play Halo or any other game they please.

What if the Master Chief was not the last Spartan-2? What if others had survived(excluding Halo:First Strike)?

Then a whole mess more Covenant would be dead.

But then, Onyx(Eric Nylund) would cause them all to be trapped in a Dyson Sphere.

The Chief isn't the last Spartan 2 though. Not all of them died on reach, I'm not sure how many spartan 2 are left *have to go back to the books to find out*

There are Grey Team(fate unknown), and the rest are stuck in Onyx.

EXCLUDING THE BOOKS!!!!!!

Why would we exclude the books? They are a part of Halo.

Excluding the books in the sense that some Spartans are still alive.

That implies that the Chief is dead as well. Do you know something we don't, or is my merciless wit causing you mental pain?

What I am saying is what if the Spartan-2's had stayed with the Master Cheif throughout the halo games. How would the games have change?

The "Halo series" in-all would be totally changed, excluding the act of John (Sierra 117) being the only Spartan left.

The gameplay would also be a "squad-based" Campiagn rather than Master Cheif alone. A related example would be "Star Wars: Republic Commando" as it is a "squad-based" video-game.

I agree with that, the game would be something very different then what we have today.
Republic Commando was a great game though. I wouldn't mind seeing a Halo game that is a squad-based shooter.

Neither would I Templar (if I may call you that). A squad-based Halo shooter game would be very nice to have, but I honestly don't know how that could occur now?

Templar is fine. You never know what could happen, a squas-based FPS would be a great game. It would really have to be done just right to make it work though.

True, it would. It definitly would actually. It's too long to explain how though.

But, as Templar said, a squad-based FPS would be amazing for the Halo universe.

i would love to see a Halo Wars era Squad based Spartan game... awesome -blam!-...

It would be stupid.

Seriuosly, come on... Spartans that fight like clones? Might as well make a game like Halo but as a marine instead of a Spartan-2.

I think Lucy(correct me if I'm wrong) was near dead and in a coma, so they put her in a cryo tube. Gray Team, is still out in the universe, somewhere past the outer colonies.

That is Linda. She was revived later on by Dr. Halsey and S-IIs Will, Fred, Kelly, Grace, Anton...uh...there was one more whose name I forget. Will, Anton, Grace, and the last can't remember went "MIA". Grey Team is still unaccounted for.

Also, Lucy is a S-III.

Isn't Gray Team a Spartan-3 squad from Onyx? And how did Dr. Halsey learn about the Chief and Cortana's journey through the first Halo? Was it part of Cortana or what? Oh.. and Lucy is a Spartan-3.

Yeah, I thought Lucy was a Spartan-3. The fact that Dr. Hasley knew about the Chief and Cortana's journey through the first Halo was because Dr. H new Cortana personally. I believe.

Gray Team is outside UNSC Space.

Cortana sent a message through Slipstream and Dr. Halsey intercepted it and forwarded it along with her message to Admiral Hood.

Lucy is indeed a S-III.
