Im getting a new laptop for christmas and I was wondering if I should get Halo 2 for the pc.

I have and love Halo:CE for the PC and Halo 3 for the xbox but is Halo 2 for the pc worth it?

There's a word for what I am, but I can't pronounce it.

BFA, CCS - olde and bony & one minute musings.

Halo 2 Vista opens a gateway to some cool new map experiences, and I enjoy it. The main problem is, you have to have some pretty decent computer graphics / operating system to be functioning H2V.

Great game, though, all in all. It's worth it.

Its worth it but just like Index said you have to have a windows Vista running PC with 1 GB ram or more.
I preffer Halo 2 PC 'cause its more easier to use. But they take about 4.5 gig out of your harddrive.

Edit : Its a good game and all but I'm having some troubles right now that's making my halo 2 all laggy.

Fire.

Yes, I have it and I love the Windows Live features, it's a lot like XBL. You can contact your XBL friends from it just like if you were on your Xbox 360 console. it's also good if you want achievements because you get one for every Campaign level. Good change of pace too, and sometimes it's easier to aim with a mouse than a controller.

Thinking of something witty to write here since 2004...

I wouldn't recomend it. It's poorly optimised for PC, the map editing tools are very restricted compared to Custom Edition's tools and it has a very low playerbase.
