I know Halo 2 is near completion and i dont wanna sound bossy but i have a couple reccomendations that a lot of people agree with.
shadow ops red mercury was a great seller. this is just a recommendation from a halo fan, but a strong recommendation. i think the idea atari, and zombie had, making shadow ops a movie like game was a great idea and it proved to be good from the sales numbers. now in halo 2, dont just make it "just another sequal" with new plot and good graphicsa and so on. but add a bit of that blockbuster hit stuff to it. in the cinematics give master chief some nice finesse moves and some other great stuff. there is a cinematic in shadow ops where your character is in a bombed out church. he shoots all the enemies and sees one of the terrorists holding one of your parters at gunpoint. one of your teammates on the second floor balcony in the church drops a rope and very stealthily slides down, then lands, pulls out his pistol, swings around the rope and caps the terrorist right in the head. do nice movie-like cinematics like that. that would make halo have great cinematics on top of everything else you all are making great. and lots of those cinematice would create a more immersive storyline and gameplay
yeah, well ill copy paste it to a post in the bungie forums...but anyways, i meant in both cinematics and IN GAME, like a big explosion and things fall over near you, your partner marines have a "trigger" to run ahead and unsuspectingly get crushed by debris, right in front of you, and i didnt mean literally ropes, but just other cool finesse moves and things...also bungie, i think the "betcha can't stick it" thing is fine, but this kinda dissapointed me:
in the Maw on halo: combat evolved, the moment is serious, keyes is a flood, most humans on the halo are now dead, and you are making a last-ditch effort with cortana to escape the halo alive...the moment is a serious moment, and then the banshee crashes into the side of the ship and cortana says "you did that on purpose" and master chief's head pops up and looks around in a funny way, that ruined the moment. i hate to sound like im ordering you all to do this and that, but it's kind of a dissapointment to get some funny remarks in a tense moment, in halo 2 it'd be good if in the last level or at the climax of the plot, if there is a serious moment, dont remove the player from the intense moment with comedy, keep the drama going
