First Masta Top Cat make sure u check online to see if xbox live didnt go offline and also sometimes they can shut down certain games real quickly. and also make sure your parents didnt turn off the cable cause if u dont have that then you are screwed. Then troubleshoot your not the only one that this has happened to. I know its fustrating so contact Microsoft over the phone or contact the cable company.

Second thing is to keep every thing simple and make sure u have the right ethernet cables. So the cable should be hooked up to the modem and the modem shold be hooked up to the Xbox and then go through the Xbox Live System Check and if every thing is ok then just go start playing your game.

Same here, and I must say, I believe that XBC is the best tunneler out there. It has the best online chat support out of the three. Also, the most popular, meaning it has more servers up. But now, sadly enough, the most Halo 1 servers I've seen up, is about 20. Sad stuff. But when it was more popular, it was the best stuff ever. I like how XBC doesn't require a lot of stuff to use it. But anyways, if anyone still plays it you might be able to catch me online. Check for Tuss4444.

I am amazed that mricrosoft and Bungie are receptive to this "Free online gaming" program. Microsoft has a habit of wiping out all competition that is not them.

huh, it is cool that this is legal...

Out of the people who have both, which do you like better? LIVE or XBC? i think playing HALO online would rock.

  • 03.28.2005 4:59 PM PDT

Why don't they just make an update for Halo 1. Bungie makes a program to put Halo 1 on LIVE, sell it for $19.99. There "The Great" Halo 1 for the xbox is now resurrected in full.

cat5 from your pc to the xbox will be fine. Just make sure it's a crossover cable (system link cable).
