I need another Halo book I can't take this. I can't wait till Halo 2 comes out. I don't care what the book is about. It could be about a blade of grass that Master Chief steped on while walking to a Warthog. I don't care I just need something to heal this Crave. Does any one need another book or is it just me.

I was thinking....patience is a good thing, try and get some. Although the books are good. Try the Da Vinci code, or it's prequel, Angels and Demons.

Since when dose Tom Clancy have anything to do with the Halo Universe?

I'm not saying his books are bad. They are the Best Action novals I've read. And that is coming from a critic, by the way.

Try 1984 and Animal Farm - in fact, just buy an anthology of George Orwell stories.

If you really have some time to Kill, Pick up the Wheel Of Time Series, 11 books, and counting.

nnnnoooooooo!!!
if you like getting a sense of accomplishment from your reading, i would recommend not reading this series. you said you'd be happy with reading about a blade of grass that MC stepped on, on the way to a warthog? well, you get at least 6 books worth of the equivalent (i've only read the first 6) in this series.

Yes Enders shadow and Shadow of the Hegemon are also both good (although they are not part of the enders game series which is probably why he didn't mention them)

They're set in the same universe, though.

Ya, Enders shadow is basically just another point of view on the same story that takes place in Enders Game, while Shadow of the Hegemon really doesn't have much to do with the Enders Game series although it is still a great book.

or he could read every book by Orson Scott Card!

  • 07.06.2004 12:32 PM PDT

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Of course, there's also the five book Hitchhiker Trilogy

I don't think anybody but me picked up on that... Funny one GoWeb

Brute Force. Or if you like hunting or african animals turning hunters into piles of bloody gore than read Death in the Long Grass I'm not done with it but it's really cool.

Read Transal Saga by Gary Paulsen. It really has nothing to do with Halo but it is a great book.

If you like spy books from the slightly pre-WWII and WWII era, try anything from Alan Furst, as well as, The Thiry-Nine Steps and The Spy Who Came in From the Cold

Try "Dreamcatcher" by Stephen King. And "Firestarter", "The Shining", "Night Shift", or pretty much anything by Stephen King. His books are awesome!
