I've been scrolling down the list of topics in the Halo 2 Forum (This one), and I've been noticing that whenever I see a topic about someone wanting to play Halo 2 with some other peeps, all the posts and the opening topic the poster has written are "blocked" out. I don't get it. Is it like, against the rules or something to ask people if they wanna play H2? Idk, I"m just pointin' it out.

Seriously though, if anyone wants to play H2, my GT is stonekipsta. Halo 3 gets boring after awhile, even with Forge. I normally play H2 a few times a week, so.....

Also, if this opening statement does get "Shadowed/blocked" I would like a reason as to why.

If I had to make a guess as to why all those people were banned, I would say it is one of the following reasons. They are repeat threads, you don't really need 14 threads asking if people wanna play. Also if your looking for people to play with you wanna go to the classifieds to find people. Posting repeat threads is against the rules. Also posting ads asking if people want to play, or trying to recruit people to play is against the rules, unless its posted in the classifieds forum, anywhere else on the site and it is considered off topic, which is cause to lock the thread, and/or ban the OP.

This is just my speculation on it, I will try to find a ninja to comment here for a more definative answer.

Asking people to play is considered an advertisement, and so it should go in The Classifieds Forum. Forum Rules (located in the Pinned Topics) state: *Advertisements for Groups, Clans, Tournaments, Custom Games, Parties, or Co-Op Play are to be posted in The Classifieds only.

He can play the game all he wants, but asking other people if they want to play, in this forum is against the rules. When you are looking for people to play games with its considered an ad, and the only place they are allowed is in the classifieds forum.
