I bought Halo PC back in March and havent been able to play it yet because my video card will not run it. Finally, I have more money so I can get a new one, I just dont know which. I want to get a good video card (one that is 256 mb) that will run Halo PC, and also one that is good for graphic design. Any recommendations?

Well, how much are you willing to spent? The top of the line cards is the Radeon X800XT 256mb and GeforceFX 6800, both are going about at $499 and they'll run Halo at 1600x1200 at a good frame rate.

Well, if you dont read that, I suggest an ATI Radeon 9600XT. It is the top of the line 9600, and it is one of the best mid range cards. If you can spend an extra $30 or so, you can get a NVIDIA 5900XT. The 5900XT is a bottom of the barrel high end card, but it usually spanks the 9600XT (from the revies ive seen). This is mainly because it has a 256 bit bus instead of a 128. (Dont worry if im confusing you. Everything on a graphics card is better if its higher.. except for temperature).
