Subject: I think Halo 2 will support custom soundtracks.

Do you think Halo 2 should support custom soundtracks? Its simple, what do you think about Halo 2 and the custom soundtracks option? Halo is everything Xbox and Halo 2 is rumored to support more Xbox features than any other Xbox game ever released. Here is an example I have played through Halo2 many times. I love the original Halo music I even bought the Halo SE soundtrack but occasionally I like to listen to my own music with such games as Halo, Unreal, and Morrowind. So this one day I filled my cd changer and started playing Halo to Blumchen (German dance group) and that really set a good mood that went perfect with Halo. Halo2 should have custom soundtracks for multiple player mode and single player mode. The original music IS important for story but if you play Halo2 50 times what would be wrong with playing it to you own music. Also I’ve seen other people talk about a Halo CE/HEK for the Xbox Halo2. A Halo2 HEK would be nice.

Good idea...I can imagine listening to classical music as I blast through the flood. (even though I don't think they will be on pt 2)

I'd listen to the Harry Potter theme song while flying a Banshee or worthog jumping.

Doo da doo daa dooo doooo... do da doooo.

Or that Techno Tetris song. I have a lot of random songs on my Xbox.

On multiplayer (on xbox live) i don't want any music going. I don't want the possibility of some vehicle sneaking up behind me at 50 MPH. Though if you are in a vehicle , like that other dude said, it would be cool.

It wont support custom sound tracks, because of all the trouble they have gone through to produce some new wonderful music. It will be appropriate for the game, you will like it.

The music is gonna be awsome, but isn't the Point of the game to please US? I found games with custom soundtracks to be infinitly more enjoyed than not. I really hope that there is custom soundtracks.

custom sound tracks would suck because some people like different music than others and some people would just leave because of the music and they are working on music for the levels anyway and it would throw all there hard work away.

Who says that you have to listen to other peoples music online? It would probably be too much to broadcat over the internet anyway. And are you saying, that if there is custom soundtracks, that you won't listen to the original music? Its all about the choices and being able to do what YOU like.

The Amped series lets you have the original soundtracks and your own play . You dont have to shadow one to play the other so i guess its possible . PS : tons of games let you have custom soundtrack on LIVE .

They let you listen to Soundtracks from OTHER people over Live or they let you listen to YOUR Soundtracks not over live and from your Xbox?

I think custom music would be cool. Especially in multiplayer. And if they have the new proximity voicing, why cant they have proximity music. Maybe it only plays on the radio. Like in Red vs. Blue. It would kick a$$ to drive around gunning people down listening to polka!

Custom soundtracks would be awesome, after all, music usually pumps people up more. The only downside would be that it might drown out the sound. Think, your in the gunner seat in the hog and your listening for snipers or rocket launchers, but you can't hear anything because your driver is blasting some crap song that you've heard on the radio a BILLION times. Lemme tell you, the story ends with "Get that f'ng song of the -blam!- radi...BOOM"

Overall i vote in favor.

ok, guys, i havent read far enough into this thread because i dont want to anymore, to many people saying "i dont want to listen to other peoples stupid music"....guys....YOU DONT LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLES MUSIC!!!! fFor that to work, everyone would have to download your music and that wont happen. What game on the Xbox lets you play music online and you can hear other peoples music?? none that i have heard of. CS for xbox has custom soundtracks online but only u hear your song. So i hope they do have custom sound tracks, and that means only YOU hear the music, not your allies in the same vehicle.
phew, people these days...
