I bought a 5 button mouse just for this game, but the game won't recognize the side buttons. It identifies them as the middle button (the scroll bar pressed in) when I try to map a command to them. Does anyone knoe what's wrong and how I can fix it?

Edit: It's a GE optical mouse, btw

there is a thread describing how to use a 5 button mouse somwhere on the forums and from what i can remember you have to set the extra buttons a s key strokes or something like that but like i said look for the thread on the forum

How? I'm new here. Is there a search button? Or do i have to go page by page?

I mean, I tried setting the keys as buttons and doing it that way, but it didn't work. The game would still do the melee attack (what I mapped to the middle button) whenever I clicked the side oens.

From what I saw of on a geek-TV show -- you need to go into your drivers, set up the two extra buttons as keyboard keys (Numpad / and Numpad * maybe?) and bind THOSE keys to what you want.
