wrong. incredibly wrong. and sick.

1) he contradicts himself on first his resentment of being judged, and then passes directly into a ten minute spat of how everyone else is not as good as him and should ask him for forgiveness and meaning. grouping "jocks" and "athletics" is done, by the way...most schools now have their more intelligent students in athletics. so, wrong.

2) he has one or two good ideas in there, but presents them in a way that makes people feel like asses. big man.

3) he claims to "rule" people who dont know how to help themselves, acting like a perpetual Greek God, toying with them as he would. once again, big man. i take comfort in that he will never achieve anything greater than that low base of life.

4) to tell a human being what he/she like and dislikes failed twice now...Socialism and Communism. this...thing...is no different.

5) he doesnt know the meaning of cliche...i'll help him; hating jocks, athletics, and his parents are all cliche.

6) he deserves no more of my time.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

I like it. mattski133, perhaps you should listen to #19

19) If you can't take a joke, immediately sell your computer to someone who can. RIGHT NOW.

You are taking his post much too seriously.

Stop posting dumb retardd things about the internet and about dumbasses that dont know how to make websites. (Seriously that web sucked) Plus no one wants to know about the history of the internet either. Start posting things important because posting sucky webs really sucks!

Some of you give up, and we breathe a sigh of relief - we didn't want you here anyway. And some of you just never get it. The offensively clueless have a special place in our hearts - as objects of ridicule. We don't like you, but we do love you.

That's kind of what that thread talks about. I'm not really sure what's important to talk about anymore, and you don't seem to either because I don't see you contributing anything "important" either.

Unless it's some kind of technical issue, which there are a few legitimate ones lately, most threads are complaining of some sort. Most are about people's posting habits or complaints about issues that can't possibly be solved. Or, in other forums, complaints about the games that have already been addressed. Without all those, what would the forums be?

The only thing that leaves is the actual community just...talking to each other. That's why the Flood actually fits an ideal forum better than the rest. Most of the regulars in there and in the Septagon actually just discuss whatever is brought up in the threads in a friendly, semi-thought out fashion.

The threads in New Mombasa and other Halo forums are generally complaints, but the few exceptions where people just try to get creative opinions on aspects of the game are knocked off the page. That creates more complaints and that turns around into more complaints and then a standard seems to be set.

I'm not saying, "Don't argue. Don't speak your thoughts when you see something that upsets you." I'm saying try not add anything that's an obvious statement. Try not to add an opinion that's not being asked for in a thread. Try not to start a thread just because you're bored. Just read existing threads until you find something interesting that you think you might help out in. Don't get offended if somebody that's been around for a while gives you a litttle crap.

aka. Don't state the obvious.

I really enjoyed that thread. I agree with most of it (some of it is hyperbole). If the thread makes you angry, it's talking about you.
