no, sprint was not enabled. everything we played was exactly what they showed at the demo. you just notice more when playing. like just how amazing and effective duel wielding is. although, it is frustrating when you want to throw a grenade.

Well everything was taken out for the show I suppose. Apparently you'll be able to see how much ammo you have on the left gun when dueling in the final game, aswell as your stowed weapon. Did you have a go of the sword? Tell us everything man, take your time and do a really long post about everything you did/played.

Sorry, but i would rather do this question to question for two reasons:
1. I might forget to include something
2. My fiancee might get angry that I am spending all of my time on the computer :)

anyways, I did get to use the sword and man does this thing rock. I have never gotten a quicker triple kill. Once you pick it up you become everyones focus cuz everyone wants it, but you just rush them swiping and they drop like flies! Best thing ever! I asked if you could customize the weapon set to "Sword only" and he nodded but did not say anything, which i would take as a hushed yes. As for other weapons, I used the SMG, Needler (which rules now), battle rifle (new favorite gun), Sniper rifle, and I had he shotgun for about 10 second before I got run over by a boosting ghost. It seems to have a lazer scope on it but i am not sure if it is just for design or has a specific use. I guess we have to wait on that. What I noticed that few, if any screenshots show is first person from the covie perspective. Nothing is different, except their hands, which look amazing and are VERY highly detailed! If you want more, keep the questions coming.

how did the needler work?

The needler was 10 times faster, and the bullets didn't move at a snails pace. They hauled ass. What I found to be the best was having one smg and one needler. You shoot the needler first and the unload the smg. The needles should explode just as you fire the smg so it only takes a few shots to finish someone off. The covie carbine was not in the demo, i wish it was. I am dying to see what it does!

If you got to use the Rocket Launcher, was the lock-on nitceably effective and did it lock onto anything other than vehicles?

i kno your not asking me im pretty sure i kno about the lock on feature

the rocket will only lock on if you are zoomed in and the reticle turns red

The good thing about the lock-on is it is helpful, but not a huge advantage. You can only lock on to vehicles (unless my aim just sucked), but it does not corner the way the rockets in unreal do. The targeting is very gradual and if you cut a corner in the vehicle when the rocket is coming there is a good chance it will miss you, or do minimal damage. I loved this as I always thought the rockets in Unreal were a little excessive.

You still only have one level of zoom, but it is closer this time. OK guys, I am going to dinner. I might be on later. If not then tomorrow morning.

no, you cannot lock on to anything other than vehicles, that would be -blam!-

also, stabby, i got 2 questions

1) were you able to lean around corners in the build you played?

2) Were ragdoll effects incorporated into the game, or were there death animations like in the first halo?

I hope you had a great time!

Any changes to the Shotgun?

sniper witout trail would be kinda -blam!- cuz you'd never find them, you'd just drop dead having no clue.

Here's my question: what is "tea bagging" ??
and also, it seems having the sword is not such a huge advantage, all you have to do is blast them from a range...just explain your experiences with the sword

to the morons who kept hussling him for proof-Is it really that hard to believe someone went to E3? You guys made it sound like you were talking Jesus or somethin...

Dr. Will - i already talk about the shot gun a bit earlier.

The sniper rifle did have trails, but they seemed less noticable. The was no leaning in the demo. The sniper rifle looked a lot nicer and had some cool effects like numbers and coordinates around viewer when zoomed, much nicer than before.

Honestly, the best thing about Halo 2 is that if you owned at Halo 1 you will still own at Halo 2. My brother and I both had flag captures for own teams and are usually two of the best players in our clan.

Unless you live in south florida it might be hard to touch my hands, plus sometimes I am in a rush and forget to wash after wiping. Touch at your own risk!

no trail on the rifle? my god i think it needs the trail. otherwise it can be over powering at times.

i got one for ya, how powerfull is dualwielding? does it seem like it can be to over powering, will people always be using it? is a gun and grenade any match to a dualwielder?
