Anything interesting we should know about the new ghost? like when you come out of boosting does it take a second to slow down or is it immediate? And is the ghost any faster normally? anything else you can say about the new Hog or Ghost would be great! thanks in advance.

Think about it, he was in a map in the daytime, even if he used the sniper rifle I dont think there'd be much need to use the night vision!

I was kinda thinking of the multiplayer when I mentioned stairs, but you do have a good point Jay.

The vehicles handled better in general, and it was cool to see them all shaky when badly damaged. As for the boosting warthog, Nope! It does have a horn, which I mentioned earlier and I love.

When you kill someone with the plasma sword, you can then pick it up. Thats how I got it the first time. As for it respawning, I am not sure. I am still wondering if the respawns will be timed for weapons and health like they were last time.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

i read on another forum that unlike in Halo, when the maps say "4-8 people", you have to use that number of people. Not a prob for me, 8 controllers n 2 x-boxes in my house (mine n older bros) so i'm fine.

What about the sprint, could you use that? is it really noticible the destructible sceneary? <sp?>

Yeah man that's cool. Just like oddball in Halo 1, you could set the speed for the player holding the oddball :) !!! It roxxxxxxx...!!! It's most fun when playing it in Longest with the speed at the highest rate of the oddball player (and we did 400% lives also... very very sweet ;) )... do not add unlimited grenades though ;)

He played Zanzibar, the only level anyone played at E3, I'd imagine it was very good.
The transport hog hasn't even been confirmed by E3 the renders you have seen were merely concepts, I believe the Rocket Hog was in the level though! Couldnt tell you if it was good or not, as I didnt play I'm just trying to save Eric some time so he can answer questions, that others cant!

When vehicles are damaged, are they harder to control?
I read in an OXM that Bungie decided against it because it would detract from gameplay.

I go around the world leaving a path of destruction in my wake. When I come to a city, grown men cry and women wail. I collect the skulls of my enemies and display them for all to see.........I also kick puppies. For fun.

I have a question Stabby, you said that gernades were not much different, but I think in one of the weekly updates it said that the frags bounce differently and people would have to "relearn to throw them." Were the frags distinctly different, or barely different?

Also, I have one more question that others might also want to know. After you die, when you respawn, do you start off with an SMG, and are there all those guns on the beach, or was that only in the demo?

Wow Erik, thanks a lot for the info. We need people that are willing to answer our questions, and I thank you for stepping up to the bat. Anyway, I must say I have a question or two myself...
1.It looked like the clips from the SMG were loaded verticaly on the weapon. I know some Australian weapons have that design, but wasn't aware that it would make it's way into H2.
2.Say for instance you have just respawned, and the only thing you can find is a single SMG. A round a corner and find an enemy with a plasma pistiol/rifle. How likely are you to win that fight?

Thanks again for answering our questions, and congradulations on your engagement.

Monk, the SMG is loaded from the side. If you watch the multiplayer demo, you can see the magazine pertruding.

Yeah Monk I think you got vertically and horizontally confused, the old AR was loaded vertically (up) the new SMG is loaded horizontally (to the side)

Whoops, I meant horizontally; thanks for pointing that out. I just hope that a single SMG isn't a Wimp Gun. It looks too cool, especially when you are only holding one of them, to cause only a mild skin rash.

I don't recall the post game carnage report being any different but I could be wrong, or it could still change. The trasport hog was not available. The vehicles are not harder to control, but look a lot shakier and ride rougher. There is some force feedback to go with it too. The SMG is not all that strong. I really feel it was made for duel wielding. I am sure they will put some weapons on the beach so you don't go in helpless, but I doubt it will be a rocket launcher and energy sword. As for the grenades, all the physics in the game see smoother and more lifelike, so it makes sense that the same physics would apply to the grenades. To tell the truth, we didn't know the map well enough, or where specifically to place a grenade to try any "pinpoint" throws. The animation for throwing is similar to the old one, with a nicer looking arm on screen of course.

My brother played as an elite. He says that the hands were not too big on screen and not a distraction at all. He is sitting next to me and I just asked him. He said it felt no different than playing with a Spartan. He said it looked beautiful.
