i was just wondering, is halo 2 going to have ragdoll physics? from the looks of it so far, its not, but that can be one of the last things to be implemented. and its not really a biggie. in fact, i liked the body physics in halo 1 :)

I dislike ragdoll, weird things happen in games with ragdoll physics, anyone ever play hitman? Now thats ragdoll to the extreme. I like Halo the way it was so I think they should just add some more scripted deaths to Halo 2.

Yeah, ragdoll physics are WAY overrated and played out they look creepy at best, but usually they just look like floppy dummies. Lame. Bungie should ( and probably will ) keep the animated death sequences.

yeah i think i would like a bunch of preset death animations those were so cool and stylish in halo one. and i think some of the animations should be location specific like to see a guys legs get swept out from under him fom a poor sniper shot. that would be hilarious.

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

Halo had a combination of Ragdoll and animaiton. Halo 2 will have something similar.

You must admit it though, it is pretty funny in RS3 when their head gets stuck in a wall ;)

Yeah, the mix is the best.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

No 1 noticed that it wasnt in the E3 trailers <i no it COULD be added> but no Bungie game as yet has rag doll physics and those who are into it, know it takes a while to motion-track <its the technical term> the dumies as they get shot or jerked around and they probably can't borrow/use another companies system unless Gates himself buys it!

However Rag Doll in Max Payne 2 work so well, its the best i've seen!!!!
