lol im 14 you cant tell me what to do.

Go away, its past your bedtime.
shut up

Well, this proves me correct in my previous statement about people of all ages being immature and annoying.

If I remember correctly, you have to be at least 12 or 13 years old to register an account at Bungie.net.

Ya know what everyone needs to do? Stop complaining about generalized groups of people.

Phew, I am 13, so I am okay.

*someone will then quote this post*
"dude u suck i sed case clozed u suk im t3h uber matur and u rnt"

(i write like that because you probably use all forms of spell checkers and what not to appear smarter, the bottom line is i don't care and i am better than every last one of you *hides from ninjas*)

I think little kids should be allowed to play with restrictions for the simple fact that when most of the little kids are online with their friends and their parents aren't around, they tend to use foul language worse than what I've heard in factories for Gods sake. I was just playing the other day and these little kids, who you know their parents aren't around (or they would get a royal beating, or should at least), were dropping F bombs every couple of seconds. I think if kids are reported acting that way their parents should be informed, and if they do it again, banned for a certain period. I'm 16 and I don't act like that, I enjoy smack talking, but I know where to draw the line, and acting like that goes past the limits of smack talk, I gotta go.

First off the poll is messed up becuse u don't put an answer of no on the poll, plus u can just mute the kids, or they can mute you.

Would it be fair to restrict the abilities of "younger" B.net members, as in giving more priveliges to people who've been here longer? I bet that'd really piss you off... because it's unfair. Namely because you're a 2005 member. But you probably wouldn't have a problem with it if you were here in 2002... am I right?

At the same time, take a look at the name of the site... it is Bungie, not Halo. Gnop!, Myth, Marathon, Oni, PiD, Minotaur, Operation: Desertstorm... I was playing Marathon when it was a new game... back in about '94 or sometime around then... I'm now 17... that means I was about 6 at the time I played it. As far as I recall there was no age limit on the game, and as such you could be a member on here at any age. Even if I'm wrong about Marathon, I don't see how anyone could have a rating on Gnop!

So in short... be quiet.

Tristan ;-)

That little M on that cover means something parents no kids under 17 should be allowed to play it HALO 2 is a adults game and should be taken very seriously when kids play it some people the age 18+ use "colorful" language in this game.
And i also think kids should not be allowed to go to bungie.net because they can be obnoxious and rude this is one of the many reasons that the HALO/Bungie community is being downgraded.
One example is that kids can insult us and not get a punishment because they might live 1000 miles away.

I'm 14 and i think thats unfair i belive it's the parent's decision and if they made that decision thats that. My parents let me play all kinds of mature rated games exept for the s.e.x.u.a.l. kind of mature games, and that was thier decision. P.S. put the letters together.

First of a little kid is like someone 12 and under. Second of all I'm going to half agree with you on this one. While it does make sense that the games do have M ratings, not every store enforces the rating system. Most people figure that the rating just means you can’t buy the game, not play it. If it prevented them from playing it then that would probably violate something on the constitution and people would -blam!- about it for years to come. I turn 17 in about 2 months and I cant wait so I can walk into a place that does enforce it and buy an M rated game and when the little pimple faced nerd tells me I cant I'll shove my ID up his ass. I agree, it is annoying to play online with little -blam!- kids. Nothing pisses me off more when I'm pwning a little 10 year old and he's crying. I remember once this kid wanted to play me one on one because I whupped his ass in a team slayer game. He said I was -blam!- and that he would whup me one on one. When I kicked his ass he cried (literally you could hear him crying) and said that I cheated cause I used the shotgun. But if you think about it, these little kids make up a good percentage of the online gaming community. And as for the Bungie restriction I am with you %100.I hate it when I read their bulletins where everee wourd is speeled wroong. And they ask stupid questions like, why do I suck, or why is my Xbox on fire? That would eliminate like%60 of the pointless annoying bulletins people post. BTW if oyu have xbox live come play me sometime.NHIACLKO9 is my gamertag.

hmm.....you know, this is not the first time i've seen this topic before. Here is an example of my opinion. I've seen guys (possible girls) who do nothing but shout a random curse word every five seconds and annoy everyone in the game. These people I'm sure were over 17 and this is living proof that not even older people are as mature as they are supposed to be. As for age specific groups of players? That would mean a lot of work on bungie's part as opposed to people just sending feedback. If you don't like some little kid swearing continually or crying, just send feedback and stop complaining. Bungie and the Xbox live crew are doing their best. And by the way, im under 17 so if you feel offended by my being younger than you im sorry.

thats no fair though because some kids are mature and can actually follow orders but some cant... plus how can you call someone with a 4 pac biceps and chest hair a "Kid" i think thats an oxy moron..... more like teenangers~! i think your talking about all the little kindergarteners who play... they are annoying but thats why theres the mute button and you shouldnt argue about little kids because you're too lazy to mute him or her!

Ok I hate the brats... But I have no problem with playing games with kids who are mature enough to handle it or don't go out a shoot some one because they seen it in a game..
I think its up us parents to see if the kid is mature enough to play or it... If are kid starts becoming a brat and 4 letter words we should take the game away from them.. I cant believe how unsupervised children are now-a-days.. We need to see what are kids are playing and how they react to it... watch there behaver online and if we find out that they just cant handle it or worse start doing dangerous things we need to make a stop to it.. Also we need to communicate with are kids so they know the difference between the real world and the game world, right from wrong.
to sum it up LET THE KIDS PLAY! but if they brake the rules BAN EM! and for us parents if are kid cant handle the game TAKE IT AWAY!!!... DON'T JUST LET THEM PLAY WITH OUT KNOWING WHAT THEY ARE PLAYING AND IF THEY CANT BE GOOD WHEN THEY PLAY TAKE IT AWAY! I WOULD BE DAMMED IF I LET MY 2 KIDS PLAY A GAME WITH OUT ME SEEING IT 1ST AND ID BE DAMMED IF I LET MY KIDS PLAY IF THEY CANT HANDLE IT!!!! I let my little girl play because she is very mature and knows right from wrong... but my son is a different story... oh the words he spoke made me wash his mouth out with soup and take the game away.

Oh on top of that he was killing him self in the game so his teem would lose! and it was all because one guy said "no kid don't run into that room" the guy was just helping him and he was made because he got called kid... well he is a kid and should not be cussing over it and making his teem lose I personally made him say sorry to the guy too.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

You would be surprised how many people over 17 that are just as bad as "little kids." Past threads have shown this.

But I myself would have been a bit on the annoyed side if Bungie hadn't let me join. I'm 17 right now, and I joined 3 years ago... I didn't evolve all that much, either.

But maybe it was because I joined the old b.net... where people were, in general, more well-mannered than they are now.
