I dont know if anyone remembers, but years ago there used to be this whole thing about there being a "Yellow Banshee" in Halo Combat Evolved. Of course, it was made up. That didn't stop tons of stories and edited pictures of the thing to go rampant.

Eventually, this guy named Red Loser made this site about it. Had all these stories about Gnomes in Halo, Banshees from every colour of the rainbow. Tons of Halo stories. Was a site that was funny as hell do to it's rampant stupidity.

However, the site is pretty much down the tubes now. All links say it is broken except for the main page, which has nothing.

Does anyone here have any of this content indexed? The site is: http://web.ics.purdue.edu/

I recognize that text. It means that he has a server running in that webspace, but it isn't doing anything. When you set up an Apache server for the first time, it gives you a default "It works!" static html page.

I've never heard of said shenanigans, though. 'Tis a shame on my part =[

As a former Purdue student I can tell you that after you graduate you ICS accounts are deleted after 6 months (ish) at which point ay websites you made or emails you have are gone. If he (or she) didnt archive it is gone forever.

I don't know if you're already aware of the Wayback Machine. It's currently dysfunctional...

Edit: Wait a second...
