You will have to give us more info if we are to help. Sys Specs, your problem in detail, things like that.

Which card do you have?

I know most nVidia cards do have the camo problem and it hasn't really been resolved...

ya sry man but if ur video card has trouble displaying active camo there really isin't a "patch" per se to fix it. Unless you haven't already updated your graphics card drivers, then the only way to get that active camo looking good is to buy a new video card, i suggest going to the thread "The Guides:: READ ME FIRST" and going to the link, "Buyer's Guide to Graphics Cards". If you're looking to get a new card this guide will help you out.

Well you know how nVidia's don't render the specular right? Well that is what I am talking about it gives you this greyed out effect, unlike the watery effect on ATi/Xbox pathcodes. I found a "fix" that makes the text disappear but allows for you to play with the specular on active camo, not that great of a trade off. I am using the 76.50 Drivers and I have a GeForce FX5900 SE(XT)! Thanks for any extra help you can offer!

Wait, nVidia messes up specular? On my comp, a mac, with a GeForce FX 5200, specular looks fine, and so does active camo.

Ya the 5500 and the 5200 from experience work fine for me. Must be an older card problem.

To me, a newer card problem. I'm hearing bugs about 5900 and stuff. What i want to know is if this effects the REALLY new cards like 6800. ??

Get a Simmalar Problem with the Active Cammo on my ATI 9000, works fine on my Bro's nVidia 6800 GT though.

Heyyo,

For your FX5900? use older drivers. The newer Nvidia drivers for windows suck with halo. This ain't m$ fault (miraculously..) it's Nvidia's. Somewhere along the lines of their new drivers they managed to mess it up and leave it like that.. so get older drivers. It's not like newer drivers make a world of difference.. maybe 5F/S.. nothing too noticeable.. and I dunno aboot you, but I'd rather have a properly looking game than one with a few meesly extra frames..
