I want to know, how come we don't have the privileges to delete our own posts. If we made a mistake like double-posting it or wanting the thread to die, why can't we just simply delete it?

Ach! Was ist los?

Because it's bad enough that we can create them in the first place.

Get Marathon Here
Get Marathon 2 and Infinity Here

Sgt. Smith would be correct

and its a good question, as deleting our own posts would allow for much easier removal of accidental double posts

People could use it to delete threads after finding out what they wanted to know, which would mean that other members wouldn't learn from it. Or they could delete a thread if it wasn't going their way.

IMO, they should make a poll on it and see what people say about it.

And then completely ignore the results and do what's best.

Well, why can't we just at least lock our own threads so no one posts in it or bumps it? That is what I would want to know. Sometimes I make a thread I COMPLETELY regret ever making. And if we have our answers, why not just lock it?

The threads still provide a place for others to extend your question, and some people may lock threads simply because others disagree with them.

Huh, right. I guess people would abuse it either way.

It is my opinion that this dictatorship could do with a couple bloody purges.

If you want a Thread deleted or Locked try PMing a Mod about it. Just tell them your situation and hopefully they will Delete or Lock it for you. I remember mnaking a post about something once, and it ended up goign from a Intelligent conversation to a Flamefest, so I PMed a mod about it and explained and asked them to delete it and they did. I dont remember who it was but this works.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

Also stupid people (Some exist) would just delete their posts after letting a few respond to it so they might not get caught by the moderators.

Instead of posting all these questions in seperate threads, why not just create one thread with all your questions included in that...?
