Can't anyone learn patience? Or do you guys go to bed thinking about bungie.net?

First off, don't worry about it so much. And, Bungie.net (Tom) knows what it's(he's) doing.

Yeah, Josher's right. I'm try to keep people interested in this thing, and keep spam out of this thread, but no answers will come until the time is right.

This thread is for Council issues. What you have just done is gone of topic by talking about Halo 3. Any Halo 3 issues go in The Flood or New Mombassa. I wont be harsh on you seeing as it is your first day here, but it's just a warning.

There's a point, where do Halo3 issues go, because if you think about it, NM is for Halo2 related issues.

True. The Flood/ it'll have to be. Seriously people, this is council descusion only. I'm going start reporting people who post otherwise.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Im not worried. I see this stickyd thread up here. It was a booming thread when people were excited about this. Now hardly anyone posts and it it goes ignored by the mods. Im not doubting that the staff knows what they are doing, Im doubting that they care much about this idea.

And I think about BUNGIE every waking munute of the day! They are so amazing! j/k
no i really do!

Actually i'd forgotten to up-date that bit. It's 54 so far :)

Just to re- state, this list isn't all the people who will be on the council. The councill will probably only consist of about 12 members. The list is a list of all the people who would like to be in one of the 12 or so council seats.

I personally could ramble the list down to about 30 right now, but after that, its gets quite hard to eliminated names.

To be real honest, I think the council director should be Gods Prophet if there is one. I only say this, based on the fact that it is him that has kept the council idea alive.

Yeah. He said that performance is an issue they need to sort out first. I think though that there'll be some cool new things coming to bungie.net soon (probably in summer) so they'll be working on that. - Not officially announced. Merely an educated guess.

Personally, I think it would probably be better to not have people volunteer. But have the members of the council overseen by a group of people (Gods Prophet, Mr. Propaganda, Possibly). I imagine many of the people just asked to be part of the council to have some additional powers. Don't get me wrong, many people are serious in thinking this is a great idea, me included, but some people can't be takien to seriously. If the council were overseen by a few members they could, i bgelieve, be trusted to only put the worthy people forward...

Well a good idea and thanks for mentioning me (i think you'll be good for it too). Anywho, i know that you probably have a point, but really the reason for my list was to have a list that Bungie or mods could refer to to see who who actually like to be a member (even though i don't have everyone listed own, i'm sure), regardless of whether they would actually be suitable enough for the job. Bu of course, it all boils down to the fact that Bungie have the final say on members etc.

Yeah, that makes sense, come to think of it. Well, while I'm here, I might as well ask you to put my name on that list =D Still, I think some people from the community or atleast the mods should have some control over the membership because the bungie staff aren't exactly the most common posters=P apart from Acrhonos

Well for now it could be in the hands of the members.. uhh I know there are already too many people volunteering but it doesn't hurt for me to ask does it?

And whoever DOES get picked for the council - I'm sure there could be several uses for it, seeing as how the site has gotten so crazy lately, and with the small number of current moderators we have.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

I was invited into the council shortly after being banned... and since then I've lost a bit of touch with the aspect. Would anyone like to explain whether or not I can still join the council, and tell me what I need to do and.... stuff like that?

I can't remember how this thing works. I need a refresher :-)

I haven't been here for the last week (Damn Maka), so I haven't had much input, but I'll mave more soon.
