Same question as above. Why can't our posts and thread be in a different color visible only to us? I think it would help us find our posts and threads and such.

No-one asked for it.

Now that you have, I'm sure that Tom and the team will take it on board. Anyone else like to this feature?

My friend, you would not tell with ſuch high zeſt

Pro patria mori.

Damn... that's a frighteningly obvious request. I wouldn't say it was critical or anything but it definately gets on my "would be nice" list.

Same. I think it would help us find our threads and posts easier.

Do you mean like a color that shows you that you've seen "this thread" before? Because it darkens the text when you do.

I believe he means his text color would change inside of the thread. Bungie staff has gold that everybody sees, mods have white that everbody sees, maybe we could have <insert color here> that only we see. Basically, I guess it would make it easier for us to find our posts in a particular thread, without effecting anybody else's view of the thread. I think it would be a pretty good idea, even if it serves very little purpose.

I took a while to think about it and I figured that for posts, they could just be in a different color visible to that person only. BUT, I figured that we should have some sort of symbol next to our threads instead.

Because you're not special.

Heh, actually, I don't think there's something in the code that supports a means of changing the view per-user. Color changes as they exist now are done based on account detail, and are not based on your cookie.

I'll leave the discussion making something that renders based on individual cookie information to the pro's.

Damn it! That ruined the party, heh. I wish it would happen though.

I don't think any of this is necessary. Why have all these fancy things when all they do is slow the site down? I mean, I think the forums are perfectly fine as they are.

So you preferred the old site?

I think it's mostly the amount of users this site has is what slows it down.

With fancy, I meant stuff like different colors for each user. Not features and such.
