Bungie day makes me happy in ways I can't describe with words...
but was the rocket really from the new rocket launchers? It looks more like a rocket one would see coming from an aircraft (and just look at that nagle it's coming in from...) could it be that the pelicans on earth actually haveweapons that work on them... ( :
i forsee battlefields strewn with the burnt shells of warthogs...

Seems like polygon clipping is still a problem since one of the wheels passed directly through one of the rotating blades. The winch that blows off the front of the hog flies quickly away in the explosion, seems to hover somewhat, then completely dissapears into the ground. The only things clipping on the last 3d shot were a few frags on the ground. Looks like dynamically exploding hog parts might be a little more difficult for collision detection. So close to perfect ... just a few months more.

Is that a PEPSI CAN?! Just after the burst of light an object flies low and to the left of the warthog. Is that product placement or what. I guess even MC needs to get his caffeine kicks.

This screenshot is awesome and great. There should be a new word for something that is awesome and great. Like....... awes-ate or gree-some. Yes that screenshot was gree-some. Does anyone recognise that line? Its a little revised to fit the context of what i wanted to portray. Its from Kong Pow Enter the Fist.

Killing is bad and wrong. There should be a new word for something that is bad and wrong. Like...... Ba-dong. Yes killing is Ba-dong!

I noticed somthing else kind of interesting. Halfway through the clip, if you look between the large fan blades on the right side at the bottom, you'll see two rocks. One of them is lighter than the other. If you zoom in on the dark rock, it looks like there is a grunt inside. I know it's probably just the way the light is hitting the rock, but it kind of looks like a ghost grunt. I know it's stupid, but just something else to think about. The Bungie guys appear to enjoy our wild speculations, so I thought I'd throw one in for them. Great 3D screen shot guys! Keep them coming!

Ok, forst of all: The little line you see is not rope, and not a windsheild wiper. It is simply the antennae on the Back of the Warthog. I like how the bump-mapping really brings cool lighting effects to the warthog.
