The United States of America-- STILL more rights than North Korea!
--New official U.S. motto.

Cronin's Law----The New Flood Drinking Game

I was considering making a chapter, but then realized something: I have no idea how.

I have good ideas for the chapter itself, but I have no idea how to promote it. The Classifieds are full of clan ads, and I don't really want them in my group anyways.
And I don't want to ask for members via PM, because all that gets you is people who join and don't contribute.

Basically, what I want to know is, are there other ways of promoting your group that don't suck?

Heh... I should have thought of that, especially since that's what everyone else has done for years...

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Advertise in the group directory aswell. Also, if you want to really get well know, get into groups that are quite well known and eventually you should get more people. Ask founders if you can advertise your group in theirs.

Look! I just started a chapter 5 minutes ago and I put a link in my sig and now I am posting everywhere. Not spamming everywhere though. Look! Join if you want. I know you want to.

How do I make a good group?

You hope and pray to God that you'll only get good active members.

Yeah, most groups really have to fill a niche; be it a hangout for local Bungie fans, or else catering to a specific aspect of Bungie and or life. My Mongul Knights chapter, Reig's Body Politic, and Yeroen's Chapter Founders are all good examples of niches filled.
