R.I.P. Halo 2
11/9/04 - 4/15/10

- B( )B

Yes, I would. I'm not sure I want Halo 1 with XBL though, there is something about Halo 1 LAN parties that makes them so much better than Halo 2 or Halo 3 LAN parties.

Wait. If it were sealed in a solid gold case, how would you get it out.

Yes. I would buy it immediately

  • 01.26.2009 7:08 PM PDT

I AM HERE TO MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT DEATH AND GET SAD AND STUFF!

I would pay more than $100 for that, as long as they fixed the network code.

Don't you already own Halo 2? That's how they fixed the netcode.

Our destiny is not frightful because it is unreal, it is frightful because it is irreversible and iron-clad. Time is the substance I am made of. Time is a river which sweeps me along, but I am the river. It is a tiger which destroys me, but I am the tiger. It is a fire which consumes me, but I am the fire.

I would buy it for $60.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME GROUP INVITATIONS

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

Definitely, as long as it had a netcode optimized for online play. It would be great if the PC maps, vehicles and weapons were ported in, too.

"its not the years, its the mileage"

In short, yes. I don't even care about achievements; but playing Halo CE campaign with buddies online would be glorious.

HELL YEAH!

  • 01.30.2009 12:29 PM PDT

H1 will live forever in my heart, if nowhere else.

50 bux, hell I'd pay 500. Seriously playing halo CE anytime I want would be worth anything to me

  • 02.02.2009 2:40 PM PDT

In short; yes. This would be one of the greatest games ever - but online! Seriously, who would not want to play good 'ol Halo: CE on LIVE.

If Bungie Released Halo: CE with XBL For $50 Would you buy it

answer the Question seriously to make it accurate.

If then remade the game to work on the 360 with live (but keep the maps the guns and player movement the way they were) and named it Halo would you seriously spend 50 or 60 bucks to play it

~PowerJoe~

I believe that Bungie would never re-release Halo with Xbox Live functionality, because it would hurt them financially. The only people who would pay 60 dollars for a re-release of an 8 year old game with "outdated" graphics and game play, are too few in number for Bungie to see a significant profit. However, since Halo 2&3 are more marketable to a wider audience and are more commercial friendly, they want to focus on pleasing the broader fanbase by creating new content. Unfortunately, Bungie knows that the core fan base would easily shell out $60 for a new version of Halo, but they are in fact a company and it would take significant talent and time to reconfigure the netcode and diverting computer engineers to apply this functionality would just be too costly. Thus limiting Bungie's chance at seeing a large profit. So, that is why we will never see am an Xbox Live enabled Halo.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Probably more than fifty bucks.

Easy Halo:CE is one of my favorite games it owns all other Halo Games.

Agreed. I'd buy it for sure! They'd have to promise NOT to alter it. (Like they have via the updates in the last 2 games.)
