I'm kind of disappointed by the community right now.

So am I.

Call me Reach.

I mean, the guy obviously put alot of work into this, so instead of blasting him without cause, give a reason, at least.

It's called constructive criticism. Don't just say, "Oh, these suck." and not give a reason.

Personally, I think that these are amazing. I can tell that he put alot of time into these.

Again, that you opinion 'dude'. Lets see what you can produce by the end of next week 'bro'.
Ok? since you can obviously do better. If there isnt a thread hereby next thursday about your 'super awesome' Bungie drawing, then you should stop posting comments showing signs of negativity. >:/

uh, no? I've never picked up a paintbrush in my spare time but i can tell the difference between this
and this.

At first i thought that EDIOT guy was being a tool for being negative in your thread but you're quite an ass yourself. You copied some drawings from the website and traced them onto cardboard, amazing. If you want us (or, at least me) to think your art is any good you should at least come up with something original.

and i didn't want to go for the low blow, but you hang out at malls and tell people to go on bungie.net? dear lord.

I don't 'hang out' at malls. I'm involved in most of the Charity work that takes place at my school so i decided to do this. And to clarify things up for you, there was a desk and some chairs that the school provided for my team (Bungie project). We set this up at a local mall. I was the only person that stayed the longest at the event so people decided to eventually check out my stall. Got a few sigs. Went home, put pics up on net. The end.

Gendo, your 'quite' an ass yourself. Now go do something educational and then maybe, just maybe, ill give you a scooby snack.

I guess so. Gendo should just go home. Earths full.

Needless flaming much?
The drawings are okay, I think you could have spent more time on them if you were going to be showing them to a large audience such as people in a mall.
Lost Prophet, you are no better than them acting like that.

I'll be on my own side.

If you can't take criticism, don't post any ideas in a public forum.

Well...

The picture could be better. If you could do a full poster that's in color, you'd probably get more attention. I agree with others in saying that it's pretty farfetched that you'll get a lot of people interested, but if you get a few people and that satisfies you then good on you.

Your request for employee input just makes me think that you're just crying for attention, though.

Firstly, This isn't charity work. It doesn't help people, and frankly its a bit insulting to people who DO spend their time helping out with local charities to label it as such.

and secondly, wat? This has changed from one mildly deluded fan with a bungie poster traveling to a number of different events to 'help out bored teenagers' or whatever, into a team-based school project in one location. Whats the story?

Hey everyone. I have been making many trips to malls, schools and even sports tournaments this week. Why you ask? To convince uninterested teens into finding joy when home and have nothing productive to do, by taking a quick look at whats happening in the gaming world.

To help attract some people, a signs been made. With the Bungie 'Power arm' logo drawn neatley, and a few words to help show everyone the dedication, time and effort I have put into this. And everyones favorite super soldier is on the sign. Yup, you guessed it. Mister Chief. He'll never learn...

I would like to thank the following for having hope and faith in what i do:

(B.net usernames)
Halcylon
Sports Agility
Cali kritical
Community Rob
ZYTHON
Legendary Blue
SpartanTig3r

I would greatly appreciate it if people took the time to look at some of the work ive done. Thank you for reading this.

Click me!

*Update*
I think its safe to say now that a majority of the guys here at the community forum like what Ive done. Can a Bungie employee please share his thoughts here as well? I just want to know if i should continue to produce some fan art.

You're making it worse by posting these personal attacks, in a sense, you're no better than he is.

Im offended by that, rob.

Ive done nothing but put forward my honest opinion on his work. it would be wrong to lie and do otherwise considering that's pretty much the exact reason it was posted.

I like you, Rob. you're in the 'cool club' with me now, aight? aight.

OP, I'd appreciate it if you returned to the discussion, or are my suspicions correct, and now that its in the gallery and never to be seen my an employee, you'll leave the thread? Please prove me wrong and answer my questions, though, I'm interested now.

They are poorly drawn. But you're what, 11? So I forgive you.

No, 15.

And can you please explain to me why they are poorly drawn? Sounds like you are an experienced artist who has done years of work and has developed the right to judge other people as soon as you see the first piece that comes to sight. Go on, sir. Prove yourself worthy.

Yes they are poorly drawn and you don´t look like 15 more like 11

EDIT: i can draw better than that even if you didn´t mean me.

Dear god, I'm pretty sure that Ive been around for 15 years. And if you can draw better than me, then good for you buddy. You've totally gone past the point of why Ive done this in the first place. Stupidity runs wild nowadays.

I think he is physically incapable of taking criticism without throwing up up a "why don't you do better" argument.

entertaining at least.
