So what I’m going to do is take this person’s spam thread, and pin it for everyone to see
Reason? What could be the reason for this? Well, as many of you know already, Halo 2 is going to support it’s online community not just through Xbox Live, but also through its creator’s website, Bungie.net
Apparently, it’ll revolutionize the way games are played online
But I have something sad to report; these two people, and anyone else who decides to produce and submit junk and spam into these forums knowingly, probably aren’t going to be invited to the party that is Xbox Live/Halo 2/Bungie.net
And to state it before it happens, which it most definitely will, would you really think that if you change your name on Bungie.net, that you’ll be all set and good to play Halo 2 online? And use it's functionality with the soon-to-be-coming Bungie.net features and hot-hot-hotness? There’s a guy by the name of Achronos who’ll be sure that you’ll be off the list for this party; he knows where you're accessing from, and can easily figure out a gamertag to put a lock on using this website. I know I wouldn't want to be on his bad side when Halo 2 arrives. I'm sure nobody would
So, the moral of this reminder is simple; simple enough for even the most small-minded to understand: Spam the forums, and there will be consequences
If you see any spam, simply report it to one of us mods, and we'll do our best to electronically sweep it aside so that your visits to the Bungie.net forums are more pleasant and useful
And thanks for the already good job guys; PMs, non-responses to spam; doing a great job :)
