I believe it would be absolutely wonderful if forum page titles would contain more relevant information, such as the subject of the thread being viewed, or the name of the current forum. It would make navigating the browser's recent history feasible. Right now, after a day of browsing, I've just got 100 links with the same title.

Couldn't you just make a name for the link? Like the name of the subject?

I'm guessing you are talking about adding the links to your favorites. If not, can you please describe to us how you have 100 links?

C'mon guys, he said recent history. You know when you click on the back button with the right pad on the mouse and it brings up a list of all the recent websites visited? And they all say: Bungie.net: Bungie Forums without any other relevant information. But I've got no idea how to make anything else appear there.

What Chris is suggesting is that the web team somehow change the forum code so that the title of the page you are on (you know, the one that shows up at the top of the browser window - it says "Bungie.net: Bungie Forums", or if you have a lot of tabs open so there is little available room, just "Bungie Forums") will display the thread title. They have this feature at the Marathon Story Page forum and the HBO forum.

I'm certifiable.

I'd definitely like it. Having unique title tags for threads (or heck, even just forums) would help navigation around here.

-- Steve hadn't really noticed that HBO/MBO forums did that until it was mentioned here. So much for the "eagle-eyed" reputation...

I think most of you understand what I'm talking about now. It would be an organizational blessing.
