This is kind of a dumb question. Nevermind that Bungie being owned by Microsoft now would never be allowed to port it to the PS2, but the PS2 doesn't have the power to make any kind of a decent port. They would have to lower the resolution of every texture in the game, take out all bump mapping, and maybe even turn down the physics in the game. These are the for-sure downgrading they'd have to do. Other possibilities might be having to redo the lighting, lower polygon counts a tad, and who knows what else. Aside from the graphics being significantly detuned, you'd also suffer from longer load times, both at the start of levels and during the levels. Other than all that I'm sure it'd be a good game though. In all honesty, Halo would port a lot better to the GameCube than it would the PS2. I'm basing this off of almost every comparison review of any game that was released on all 3 systems, in graphics, xbox comes first, gamecube second, and ps2 third. If this order changes it's because of a developer not doing a good job using the stregths of each system.
