When my friend told me about the swarms and swarms of flood that attack you all I could think of was an army of the creatures on the Halo game box(grunts) then when we played co-op on level 343 guilty spark (first time I played other than MP at a friends house) Weeks after that I kept going to friends houses to play. I started to save my money to buy an Xbox with 2 games in early november.
Now I am SharpWire.

I loved the co-op in Halo1, was crazy every battle. Going through Halo2 on the other hand felt more like a chore.. only little bits i had fun doing.

ummm... my the first time I saw it was a PC Gamer demo cd with a little 5 minute movie clip of Halo, staff interview, etc.. and a clip of Victoria Silvstedt too I think. ha

it was one of the most kick ass game clips I'd ever seen, and I was way too into pc gaming back then, so finding out that it was coming out on pc (at the time) was just the coolest ever. the original armor is kinda funny looking, but it was by far one of the best looking games of the time.

then xbox came out, and Halo came out with it, and the first time I played was on a 51 inch big screen with surround sound. all I can say is I skipped way too much school that year to go play that game.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I got HALO and xbox has a present from my brother. I didnt know what they were until then.

I thought of something like Tribes when I read the reviews in PC Gamer waaaay back when it was a PC game. (The 2000 E3 movie, I think) It looked awesome. I got something not like I expected, bet it was the best game I'd ever played.

I played Halo CE at my friends house, and I totally hated it. I had no idea what was going on...Then, I watched RvB...and it looked awesome...so I got the game...exactly 10 months ago. And never regretted it. Though Halo 2 is way better.

I thought nothing of it. For the longest time, I wouldn't buy an xbox cause the controllers were as big as my nuts. However that changed, Now I love it.
