Hello

I want to start a clan. But I have very many issues with servers. First, Is there a way I can run multiple servers at once from one computer? And then in the past when I have run servers I couldnt run a server and play Halo at the same time. And then is there a way I can run a server with out having it open on my computer at all times (Having all of my clans servers minimized on my bar at the bottom)

Thanks

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

You can run the server with the argument -port X where X is the port number you want the server to run on. No servers can use the same port as another. Not sure how to solve the playing on the server machine, though.

The secret to playing on a server machine is to once again think with ports. ;)

simply change your client port to a different one than the server's and you should be good.

For example, if you're running servers off ports 2303,2304, and 2305 then it would be a safe bet to try and set your halo client's settings to say.... 2309. I usually choose a few numbers higher just to play it safe in case it doesn't work or if you wanna add more servers later.
