Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."
First off let me say... Big time props to you Cypriss for thinking of this. Now THIS is an original thought. Historians argue where Atlantis was/is. Homer placed it in the middle of the Atlantic, though historial reference looking for something of an island being sunk claim that it could have been a Greek island in the Aegean that was sunk by a volcano and also possibly in the America's. In the Gulf of Mexico or the Caribieenan(?), there are signs of streets or pathways underwater, that suggest an ancient roadway, though it has sunk into the water. Now about the Flood, they could have been on earth, why not. The only question is how did they get here, unless we take in the consideration that the Forerunner's made them by accident. Like an experiment gone horribly wrong. As we have done in our past, we create many a chemical weapons by accident. Another question is why did they, (the Flood), not spread to the other parts of the world? Now we can argue 3 possible courses of actions. One, the Forerunner are just damn good at containing them, two they did not have the means of navigating such a distance over water, (though they are very intelligent so I doubt this one), and three, that they DID escape onto the mainlands but were quickly taken care of. I don't think the Flood are on Earth, personally if the Forerunner were from Atlantis then they may have contained the Flood and fearing an outbreak took them with them off the planet. Hence the reason for the Halos. Once again this is all speculation and I must say an interesting topic.
