for me especially in oddball games i go crazy when i'm near the ball. Like i was at my friend's house just a while ago and we were playing Halo 2 odball and i was going crazy..ESPECIALLY though when u either have something important to u that u want to keep (i.e bomb, skull, flag, spree, etc.) when you're not doing very good then ur mind doesn't feel the need to pay more attention. It's a spree thing, like in basketball when you're "on fire", once u start doing good and you're winning your mind will kick into overdrive to help u out, most sports are like 50% physical and the other half is defenitely emotional, if u don't have that confidence then you're not going to win no matter how skilled/strong u are. Adrenaline, it's true, affects your mind & your body, but it really is interesting to see that gaming, a really "non-physical" "sport" is improved upon by adrenaline. errr, on the other hand one could argue that by getting so hyped up and excited then u will lose focus and die, there's always a positive & a negative.
