If anyone plays Halo: Combat Evolved on PC, I need some help with the custom skinning.

I have Halo Map Tools, I used Photoshop to adjust the seat covers and hubcaps.

I injected them over the previous textures with Halo Map Tools. It saves, I exit the editor and re-open to ensure it saved.

I play Halo, on the map I skinned, and there is no difference.

Please Help :(

Strange, I see nothing wrong with what you are doing.

Try downloading and applying a custom skin made by someone else to see if we can narrow down where the problem resides.

Will do, I'll report back with the issue.

One of the problems may be that I'm running Vista, but I don't see how that should cause a problem.

(I run it in admin mode)

Okay, other people's don't work either.

The only modifcation that has worked, is to make the Warthog transparent red or blue.

And that was using Halo Hacker Tools

Basically, I make the best topics ever.

Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

This what you are looking for?

Is it possible to skin things on Halo 2 Vista? I might have more of a chance trying that out.
